The following morning, Ezell and Ivan were still not back. It was getting late, and I was getting worried. I wanted to see them, and I wanted to make sure that they were okay. Unlike other mornings, the beast does not stop roaring. I was wondering what was going on. Is it hungry? Does it want food? Is that why Ezell and Ivan were not back yet? Where were they too afraid to leave the waterfall? We all know the waterfall is sacred, and the beast cannot go there as the Moon Goddess will never allow it. We do not know how safe the waterfall is during the day when the Moon Goddess is not around.
