When the bell on her shop door jingled, Junie looked up from the display of thick beach towels she was rearranging. The shop wasn’t officially open yet, but it was Whitley.
She wondered if he’d had a chance to talk to Ryan about her taking over the gift shop. Junie felt like her life was on hold until she heard about her offers on the house and the gift shop.
“Got a minute before you open?” Whitley asked.
“As long as we need,” Junie replied. “Have you been able to present my idea to Ryan?”
