Knox strolled into the gift shop of the Majestic Hotel, the door chiming softly as he entered. He paused to admire the vintage crystal chandelier overhead. The boutique-style space was thoughtfully curated, unlike most other hotel gift shops. It was more personal, more inviting—though it was slated for renovation as well. It didn’t need much other than paint, but he spied an electrical cord with multiple items plugged in. Possibly an electrical upgrade, as Whitley had mentioned.
