Chapter FourIT WAS STILL EARLY, so the club was empty enough there was no queue at the bar. The bartender, who was one of Tudor’s friends, was free enough for a catch-up. He even chit-chatted with Radu, because Tudor’s clout was far-reaching. Drinks in hand, they found a corner where they could stand around a high table, sip their beers and have a clear view of the entire club. Radu wanted to go hide, but he couldn’t, so he stood there with his friends, his heart going insane, his breathing haggard, and sweat forming on the back of his neck.
