Tudor punched his pillow a few times and tried to get comfortable. He forced his eyes shut and tried to relax. No one had time for his freak-out. He had to rest, make sure he was up and running in the morning, and fix this problem fast. Then he could run all the way home. MORNING CAME TOO soon. Tudor wasn’t eager to face the hotel’s IT system, not on little and fitful sleep. And not after a breakfast with Radu, who of course called him on his cowardly retreat. Yet he dug his heels in, stuck to his own reasoning, and filled his belly with warm scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and enough bacon to last him a week.
