“Don’t forget!” My mother winked at me after she took her sunglasses off. She put it back soon after. I was rubbing my temple by the time I had pulled over to the side of the road and my mother had gotten off. I just nodded at her unwillingly.
Checking my wristwatch, I made sure I was not taking too long in picking up Aljon. Although he did not say when he’ll come out of the library, I wanted to be there waiting for him before he comes out.
