“To Call or Not to Call?”

“What?” I answered the other in irritation. I was getting ready to leave for work when I got a call. Without looking at who was calling me, I tapped on my earphone. It allows me to answer my call without physically holding my phone and answering the call by sliding a finger from one end to another on the screen.
“Well, somebody’s got the panties in a bun-bun early today,” the voice from the other line said to me. I sighed when I realized it was my sister.
“Sorry. What is it?” I asked her.
“I need a ride home again today,” she said.
“I can’t,” I told her. “I have over time tonight.”
“But mom can’t pick me up. I even had to make her and I breakfast and packed my own lunch.”
