My sister grabbed her lunch from me without a word but thank you when I reached her classroom where she told me to bring her food. I heard her tell her classmates to dare look at me and she’ll back out of something. They immediately turned away from me.
I don’t know what that was and it did not concern me. I walked away from the doorway and headed out of the building.
Dara’s school stretches from one end of the street to the other. I was lucky that her building was closer to the gate. I wouldn’t have had to bring her food if mom had the time to prepare her something. Until now, Dara is still the baby of the house and our mother treats her so. That is so ironic considering she is okay with my sister having a boyfriend already.
