  Ember’s POV   Although the date had brought me closer to Nate and allowed me to explore my feelings about him, it was time to knuckle down and start training. I was already up and ready when Becky dropped by to grab me for the run I had promised her.   As we stepped outside, the early morning crisp air hit us, and I inhaled deeply. I felt my joy surge at the scent of nature as Becky chattered happily whilst we walked towards the edge of the forest. Our wolves were excited about the run this morning and the feeling was infectious.   The memory of Nate’s lips on mine from last night drifted into my head, and I smiled softly to myself as I relived the moment.
