I reached for my phone to turn off my alarm clock telling me it was time to wake up for the day, I flipped over to my back and closed my eyes for a moment trying to remember my dream. Her eyes kept changing colors. I thought to myself.

"Mate, mate." said my inner wolf.

"Quiet you, she isn't my mate and it was a dream." I said to my wolf.

My inner wolf Growls before going silent.

"Leo Stone you get your butt down here and eat some breakfast" shouted my mom from downstairs.

"I'll be right there mom" I shouted as I got up and began getting ready for the day.

I went towards my closet and began looking thru my clothing options, I wasn't sure what to wear today my mind didn't let me pick what I would normally wear, and my wolf wasn't being much help either. Every time I reached for a black shirt I got growled at. I decided to go with a dark green colored shirt, black jeans, and my black combat boots. After that I headed to the bathroom to fix my hair, and again my whole routine was thrown off by my inner wolf not liking how I was doing my hair so I spiked up my short brown hair to keep it out of my face which I hated doing because I hate the scar I had over my right eye. I headed back to my room and grabbed my helmet, bike keys, my glasses, and my book bag before heading downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Awe son you look so handsome I've missed you having your hair back showing off that beautiful face." My mother said as she touched my face.

"Yeah don't get used to it mom, I don't know what has gotten into my wolf but it has been giving me attitude all morning." I shrugged as I reached for an apple.

"Leo Max Stone you better be eating more than just that apple for breakfast." said my mother in a stern voice.

"Mom you know I'm not a big breakfast eater." I smiled as I pecked her check

"Leo ate least a piece of bacon before going to school please." My mom insited.

"Fine" I said I grabbed a couple pieces of bacon and headed out the door to go get my bike started.

Ivy

I woke up to tiny little fingers poking my face.

"Ivy, Ivy. Wake up, wake up." Said a tiny little voice.

"I'm waking up Star." I answered as I sat up stretched.

"Ivy Ivy music music." She demanded.

"Star I'm just waking up, give me a moment kid."

I smiled. Star was my Uncle Jack's and Aunt Lilys daughter. She loved when i played an instrument. I got out of bed and began getting ready for the day.

"Ivy no dress, music" she pouted.

"Star, i have to get ready for school remember, it's my first day MoonGlare High School as of today I'm officially a senior in high school." I responded.

"Please Ivy for me" she asked with her big blue eyes.

"Alright you know I can't say no to you. Go grab my violin from the music room and bring it to dinning room and I'll meet you there." I replied.

"Okay." She says as runs out of my room.

I start my morning routine, I brush my collarbone length black hair it was curly and wavy. As I brush and style my hair I start humming the melody of Dance Inside by All American Rejects. I head to my closet and looked thru my clothing. Jeez I wear a lot of blacks and reds. There has to be something i could wear. I looked thru my clothes once more, when sudenly I came across a dark green shirt, i threw on some dark grey jeans and some black vans. The shirt was fitted so it hugged my waist and chest modestly, I adjusted my new necklace and head towards the dinning room.

"Ivy I grabbed violin for you." Said Star.

"Alright, what song would you like to hear." I replied.

"Surprise me." She said with a smile.

I broke down the song I was humming earlier, as I was tuning my violin. Once I got it perfectly tuned I begin playing. My eyes slowly shut as I begin to get into the music. Whimpering could be heard in my head. My heart broke and i felt tears falling down my face.

"Ivy, are you okay?" I asked Star.

I put down my violin, and wipped the tear from my face. I looked at Star and her face turned pale and she let out a huge scream.

"DADDY There something wrong with Ivy She screamed as she ran out of the room.

my aunt and uncle rushed in.

"Ivy, oh my." Says my aunt who just rushed in.

"Why is Star crying?" Says my uncle as he comes in holding her.

"Daddy Ivy’s eyes kept changing colors." Cried Star.

My aunt pulled me in to the potions room, and sat me on one of the chairs in there

"Ivy honey are you alright, did something happend?" She questioned.

"No, i was playing my violin, and suddenly my mind went elsewhere and the next thing i know Star was crying." I explained.

"Okay, Ivy I know you were excited to go to school today. But i want to keep you home today just figure out what happened." She said calmly.

"What no way!" I shouted

"Ivy calm down." She says.

"Aunt lily I'm fine it was nothing." I cried.

I looked at my Aunt Lily and her expression changed, her face had become more relaxed.

"What did I do? I asked.

"Ivy, sweetheart it just that your eyes are changing with your emotions again . I just assumed you grew out of it.She sighed. Let's see if we can fix this before you leave for school." She looked around for about 20 mins in her potion books.

"Ahh here we go and i just so happen to have everything we need. Give me about another 20mins and I'll brew you something to control that eye change. Go gather your stuff for school, Stephen will be here soon to pick you up." She says as begins brewing the potion.

I was looking for my violin when the doorbell rang. I continued my search. I looked all over the dinning hall, i couldn't see it. Hmm i know i set it down on the table. I crawled under the table to see if Star had hidden it.

"Did you lose something beautiful" says a voice.

"Ow" i said as i slammed my head on the table from being startled. " oh hey Stephen." I say as come out from under the table with my violin in hand.

"Sorry babe, i didn't mean to scare you come on we need to leave soon." He replied.

"Okay uhm i just need to grab something from my aunt and then we go" i answered.

I headed towards the potions room and took the potion as instructed before finally heading out the door with Stephen.
