I knew was probably going to be in a lot of trouble. One I used magic on another student and two I lost myself to my emotions. I held my face into my hands and took deep breaths i couldn't let my emotions loose control again.

"Miss. Black the principle will see you now" said the receptionist.

"Yes ma'am" i answered as i got up and walked inside the office.

"Take a seat Miss. Black !" He said with a stern voice.

"Yes sir" I answered.

"It has been brought to my attention that you used magic on another student and used derogatory language towards that student. Well what do have to say for yourself young lady?" He asked.

"Well sir, My magic usage was a complete accident I'm still learning to control my magic and it's my 18th birthday so my magic is a little out of wack today. Although that doesn't....

....Dad stop" said a voice who barged in.

"Son im in the middle of something can't this wait." Said the principle.

"Dad, look Ivy didn't do anything wrong plus Belle and her little posse knew what they were doing when they antagonized her all through first period and in the hallway." Said the voice.

"Ivy your free to head to class I'm sorry raising my voice early, i should've gotten both sides and Leo you stay here." Said the principle.

I got up quickly and turned to walk away. I walked passed Leo and whispered.

"Thank you." I whispered as headed out back to class.

I rushed back to my science class and sat next to Stephen. Class was only fifteen mins in, so it was easy to follow the teachers instructions to pair up and come up with a hypothesis regarding frogs life cycles, or dissecting animals. I let Stephen come up with the hypothesis and I just followed along side him. I kept thinking about Leo how he stood up for me. I felt a tear began to form and quickky wiped it away before Stephen noticed

Leo

I smiled as she whispered.

"Son we don't protect her kind anymore why would defend her after what her kind did to our ancestors? Son your destiny is to be our next alpha." He ranted.

"Dad, look i don't know what's going either okay but every time i see her i wanna protect her, when i saw her cry my wolf cried too. For the past hour it's been whining mate! Mate!" I exclaimed.

"Son thats not possible Belle is supposed to be your mate." He sighed.

"I don't want Belle I want her. She is different, she is beautiful, she is musically talented, and when i played with her today I felt happy." I explained.

"We will talk more at home Leo, back to class now!" He said with a stern voice.

I headed back to class, again after a long discussion with my dad. Why couldn't he see that Belle was simple thing and she never challenged me or that she had very little interest in music. That all she cared about was power and no one else. I returned to my English class with twenty mins left. I put in my headphones and began working on the assisngment on the board. "Is mate safe? Why is she crying?" Whined my inner wolf. Well hopefully with my statement my mate won't be found at fault. As the bell rung for us to head to our next classes I gathered my belongings and headed to study hall. As I walked into the library my inner wolf started acting all weird again. "Mate! Mate is near." I shushed it again but as I looked around for a place to sit there she was. She had been sitting on the computer looking at something while taping her fingers. I headed her way and took the seat a few seats away from her. I glanced at her for a moment. The way she looked made me smile inside, she looked so focus with her green pen now twirling around her fingertips as she glanced at the computer screen. As I looked on to my computer screen I decided to look up some wolf and witch history to see what my dad was talking about. As I searched through different stories I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see her.

"Hey Leo thank you for sticking up for me earlier." said Ivy as she brushed her hair behind her ears.

"Think nothing of it" i replied.

Mate. Pretty. Mate. Mate. Said my wolf happily. I felt myself smile. She swayed back and forth.

“Any way i was wondering if we could look up a duet to do together.” She asked shyly.

“Hmm that seems to be a smarter option then what I’m doing now.” I replied
