Chapter 07

Aria POV:

We walked into the restaurant. The big building which was in front of me.

Oh! So, this was the restaurant.

I looked around and saw some people eating food.

So, the restaurant is the place where humans eat food.

Maria sat on the table I followed her. I sat on the opposite side of her.

“Do you want to order?”

She asked while forwarding a thing which is looking just like the book, but it is thin.

I nodded and took the book.

As I looked at the book I saw many names.

“Order the dish according to your choice”

She said.

Dish means humans call their food as a dish that means these are all the names of their food.

“There are so many dishes”

I said.

“Yes, This restaurant has more varieties on their menu.

Order according to your choice”

She said.

I know nothing about these foods.

So, it is better to let Maria choose what we have to eat so that I will be safe.

“I know nothing about this restaurant.

It would be better if you order”

I said.

“Ok, Then I will order”

She said.

I returned the book to her.

Not a book, It was the menu.

I have to start using human worlds in the human world.

I don't know what she ordered because the only human food I know till now is pasta.

“Nora, Please help me for once.

I have been asking dumb questions to Maria from morning and

I don't want to make myself a fool again”

I mumbled to Nora.

But, As usual, Nora was in her silent mode.

I decided to tap her once in a hope that she might answer me.

I placed my hand on my neck only to know that my necklace was missing.

“Where did I lose my necklace?”

I mumbled but it was heard by Maria.

“What happened Aria?”

She asked me.

“I think I lost my necklace, Maria”

I answered while praying that I should not have lost it on the way to the restaurant.

If I have lost it then what I am going to do in this human world and as an addition I have to listen to Lina aunt's scoldings.

She is not going to help me again in the future.

What will I do with my life which is not at all going on a smooth road?

“I didn't saw you wearing any necklace while leaving the house”

I heard Maria.

“Really,

are you sure that you didn't see any necklace?”

I asked again while bending ahead on the table.

“Yes,

When I was fixing your helmet I didn't see any necklace.

I think it fell in our house.

Maybe in your room or any other room”

She replied.

“Thank god.

I thought I lost my necklace”

I said with a sigh of relief.

“It has to be in our house.

Don't worry I will help you in searching for it after we reach home”

I heard Maria.

“Thank you”

I said.

I have to make sure to find it as soon as I reach home.

“Is it important for you?”

I heard Maria's question.

“Yes, It was my Aunt's gift”

I answered.

It is a gift that can make my life at ease in your world although a small part of life.

Because more than half I have to make an effort.

“Oh,

It must be special for you.

Don't worry I am sure that I have not seen any necklace on you while leaving the house”

Maria said again as she saw me in a tense condition.

I smiled at her because by seeing her confidence I decided to believe her.

As we were talking some people came with the food that Maria ordered.

This time I am going to properly watch Maria before eating my food.

The table got filled with various types of dishes.

“These many dishes”

I asked with an amazed expression.

“Yes,

I like this restaurant food.

That's the reason I can eat more food than usual”

She answered.

“Now, Let's eat these pancakes as starters”

Maria said while serving pancakes on her plate.

She also served one for me.

I observed the way she eats and followed her.

I kept a small piece in my mouth and next moment I felt that it melted in my mouth.

“Wow,

It is so soft”

I said while taking another bite.

“I know,

You liked it right?”

Maria said while eating a mouthful of pancakes.

I nodded my head.

Wow,

There are some advantages too for coming to the human world.

As an Angel, I would have not been able to taste it but as an Angel who is receiving punishment, I am eating it.

Is it really a punishment for me?

I don't know what heavens thought while sending me to the human world to receive punishment but here I am enjoying it very much.

“Now, The main course.

Fish”

Maria said while serving the fish as we completed eating the pancakes.

“Fish”

I said.

“Yes,

taste it”

She said.

I know humans eat fish and meat but still, I was in a dilemma whether I should eat it or not.

“What are you thinking, Aria?

Eat it”

I heard Maria.

I nodded and took a spoonful of fish.

“I am sorry fish but in the human world I have to eat you” I whispered to it before placing the spoon in my mouth.

I should not have to admit it, but this fish dish is very tasty.

While enjoying the dish and with some guilty feeling I completed the lunch.

I should have to say that these dishes are very tasty compared to Maria's pasta, but I decided not to voice out my opinion.

“I am full”

Announced Maria.

“Same”

I said.

I was feeling that my stomach was going to burst.

We came out of the restaurant after clearing the bills.

Today one more thing got added on to my TO KNOW LIST and that is money.

I know humans use the money for exchanging goods and services and in olden days they used to exchange goods to buy goods, but it changed.

I know some very common basics about human which were constant for some thousands of years but,

Nowadays, humans have advanced with technology and I know nothing about it.

“Where are we going?

What about your two-wheeler bike?”

I asked Maria as she was walking past the restaurant without fetching her two-wheelers bike.

“To the mall and it is next to this restaurant.

We will get it on our way back home”

Maria replied.

We walked into the mall which was bigger than the restaurant.

“What is this place, Maria?”

I asked her while looking around.

“This is the Mall.

It has several shops which sell clothes and accessories”

She answered.

“Are you going to buy clothes?”

I asked her.

“No, we are just going to roam around and return to our house”

She replied.

What!

If she didn't want to buy then why does she want to roam?

“If you have no intention to buy then why are you wasting your time?”

I asked her.

“Actually, I am here to meet my friend”

She answered.

“Maria”

We heard a girl's voice from behind us.

I turned around to see that girl only to find out that she is the girl that rang the bells this morning.

I mean the girl visited Maria's house to return her book.

“Hi,

Violet”

I heard Maria greeting that girl.

“Aria, She is my school friend ”

Maria introduced her.

“Violet I think you have met here today”

Maria said to violet.

“Yes,

Hi Aria,

Nice to meet you again”

Violet said while forwarding her hand.

I nodded while shaking my hand with her.

I am not aware of the reason, but I didn't get the positive vibe from her.

This morning I was more concentrated on the bell that's why I didn't observe properly.

But, now I am sure that this girl has a negative vibe around her.

How did she end up as Maria's friend?

Maria and Violet started walking and I followed them.

I don't know where they are heading.

They stopped at the men's accessories store.

“What are we going to do here Maria?”

I asked her.

“Day after tomorrow is her cousin Brother's birthday.

I wanted a buy a gift for him”

She said while walking into the store.

They walked towards a person at the corner and started checking the things that got displaced in front of them by that person.

They continued seeing the items one after the other.

I wonder what that item is called?

“How is this watch, Aria?”

Maria asked while placing one in front of me.

So, This item is called a watch.

Ok, I got it.

“Very nice”

I replied.

She smiled and said to the person that she was going to buy it.

We came out of the shop after paying the bill.

“I have to leave.

I have a date with my boyfriend”

Violet said to Maria.

Maria nodded, and she left after bidding us her farewell.

“Maria,

You said we were just going to roam around. Then why did you buy this watch?”

I asked her as remembered her previous words.

“Yes,

You have to say that Ryan.

He doesn't know that I am going to buy a gift for her cousin”

She replied.

She was asking me to hide the truth.

Which is not a good deed, although I like playing around I never lied to anyone because,

As an angel I can't lie even if I wanted to lie.

That's the reason I ended up here. We can only cover the truth if the opposite person didn't question us.

“Sorry, I can't do it but If your brother didn't ask then I am not going to say anything”

I replied.

“Ok,

Anyways my brother is not going to ask us anything because he might be not at home by the time we reach home”

She said.

I nodded, and we walked to the restaurant to fetch her bike.

Arriving at home immediately I decided to start searching for my necklace.

I walked into my room and started looking for it.

Maria also walked in and started helping me.

“How does your necklace look?”

Maria asked me.

“It has a feather type pendant attached to it”

I replied.

She nodded and started searching for it.

We have been searching for it for the past thirty minutes but found nothing.

“I think it might in Kitchen or living room”

I heard Maria's voice.

There are chances of it being there.

“Let's check there”

Saying I walked out of the room followed by Maria.

We kept on searching for it, but the result was the same.

“What are you two doing?”

I heard Ryan's voice.

I didn't bother to turn towards him and continued my searching.

“We are searching for Aria's necklace”

Maria answered to him.

“Come with me.

We need to talk”

Ryan said to Maria.

“Ok”

Said Maria and followed him.

I kept on searching for a few more minutes, but I didn't find it anywhere.

Where on earth did I lose it?

Suddenly, I remember that I went to the garden with Maria.

I might have lost it in the lawn!!

Without wasting any second I walked into the garden.

After searching for a few more minutes I found it under the beach of rose flowers.

I signed in relief that I found it.

Nora you almost gave me a heart attack.

I sat on the ground and reached out to take the necklace. As I got it I stood up, but I didn't realize that while getting up my leg hit the beach and the rose flowers pots fell on the floor and got broken.

I was shocked as I saw the beautiful roses on the ground. They fell out of the pots as the pots got broken.

“Aria!!!”

I heard Ryan's voice.

Oh, God!

These are Ryan's favorite flowers.

As I turned around I saw Ryan walking towards me with rage.

I know I made a big mistake this time.

“What do you think you did?”

Ryan shouted while looking at the flowers and me.

I got scared by his voice. I never got frightened by anyone's voice but by seeing Ryan shouting with rage-filled eyes.

I got scared.

“I am sorry”

Was the only thing I had to say.

“Bro, Don't get mad at her”

Maria said to Ryan.

“What were you doing in my garden?”

Ryan shouted ignoring Maria's words.

I stood there silently, words not coming out my mouth. I kept on looking at the floor.

“Answer me.

Damn it!!!”

Ryan shouted.

I shivered due to the impact of his loud voice.

“Bro, I think she came here for her necklace”

Maria said.

“Whatever it was, why did she have to go break these flowers?

This is the reason I was against you.

I don't want this girl to stay in this house”

said Ryan and walked away.

It was the first time I am getting these feelings. The feeling of getting frightened and the feeling of guilt.

“Aria,

Why did you break these pots this means a lot to him”

I heard Maria.

“This necklace was under the bench.

I didn't realize that my leg hit this beach”

I said to her.

“I know you should have been careful”

said, Maria.

I didn't reply. She walked out of the garden.

As I looked at the flowers and recalled Ryan words I could not control myself from crying.

I know I was at fault that's why I decided to make up for my fault.

I looked at the flowers and their roots were completely broken.

Not only that, but I was feeling sad by seeing those flowers in a broken condition.

I will bring these flowers back to life.

Lina Aunt refused to use my powers, but now I decided to use them even if I get punished. I am ready to receive it.

I looked around and found some empty pots. I brought those pots and filled them with mud.

I took the broken flowers in my hands and started chanting the magical spell and soon those plants were back to life.

I placed them carefully in the pots now they are just like before only their pots got changed.

“Nora, These flowers are back to life.

Now I can feel at ease.

I know they are going to get shocked by seeing these plants back to life.

That's why I can't stay in this house anymore.

Anyway, Ryan also has a problem with me staying in this house.

I don't want to cause more problems for them”

I said to Nora.

As usual, I didn't get any reply from her.

I walked into my room for my luggage and walked out of the house.

I should have said my final greetings to Maria but still, I decided the opposite and walked out of the house.

I don't know where I am going to stay after leaving this house and also Nora is also not talking to me.
