Chapter Four

Caedan’s POV

Flashback

My father had seethed after the queen and king’s admission. He forced them to tell him everything. Apparently, the queen had become pregnant after the first year of my father’s quest to take the high throne. She had given birth a couple of months before my father laid siege to the great castle. They hid her from her sisters and decided to send her to Earth to protect her. They had the midwife use a crystal to portal into Earth and leave the princess there.

After he ordered Calas to put the king and queen in separate cells in the dungeon, and send Dallan back home, after he glamoured him to forget everything, he started to pace and mutter to himself. “That’s surprising.” I stated. My father snapped his head up to me and glared. “You need to go get her.” He ordered me. “Why should I? Have Calas do it.” “No, I need him here and I can’t trust anyone else. Plus, I’m ordering you to go as your king.” I scoffed at him. “You dare disrespect me boy? You will do this because I will give you what you want most.” “You’re finally going to give me the throne in shadow kingdom?” He looked maliciously at me and grinned and nodded his head. “You bring her to me before the next full moon and you can have Varyn to rule.” He continued to grin as he said that. I agreed and made plans to leave immediately. I have less then three weeks to find her and bring her back.

Flashback Over

King Malos’ POV

“Calas!” I yelled for him. He appeared in my office doorway immediately. “How may I serve you King Malos.” He said. “I need you to gather at least three warriors that will be able to take on my son and defeat him if necessary.” He got an evil grin on his face as I had said this. “Anything else my king?” I walked over to the chair my son had been sitting in. I looked carefully til I found what I needed. I picked up some hair from the back of the chair and, with luck, the chair had scratched him, causing him to bleed a little.

“Take these to the witch Ravynne. She will make you a tracking potion they can use to track my son while on Earth. When he finds the princess, have the warriors take her and bring her straight to me. Tell them to kill Caedan if they must, but to bring the princess to me alive. I don’t care if they hurt her, but they CANNOT kill her. Oh, and send Lisha to me before you leave the castle,” I said.

In a few moments, a soft knock came at the door. “Enter.” The door opened and Lisha was standing there. “Close the door and come here.” She did as I said. I snatched her at her neck and turned her until she could sit on the desk. Her long black hair flowed over the top of the desk. I took my right hand and dragged her dress up to her waist. I kissed her, biting her lips a little hard, making them bleed.

I licked the blood off her lips as I continued my exploration. I moved my hand to her p***y and rubbed the outside of the lips, grazing her fold to separate them as I slid my finger inside. I took my hand from her neck and ripped the top of her dress down, exposing her large b*****s. I took her right n****e in my mouth, sucking and biting as I thrust another finger in and out of her p***y. She moaned with each thrust of my fingers. I removed my hands from her as I quickly freed my erection from my breeches. As soon as I had, I slammed into her wet p***y.

Caedan’s POV

It took me a few days before I was ready to cross through the portal to Earth. I had to wear clothes as close to the style Earth people wear, and I would need to bring some gold and gems to trade for currency there as well. I wouldn’t be able to utilize Diablos my raven zara as much. I mostly would just be able to communicate telepathically with him. Their jobs were to allow us to stay for a little while longer on Earth. I would have a week to find her. Eraz and Zare help, I thought to myself. It would take a week to recharge and come home before I could attempt to cross again if I couldn’t find her this time.

Diablos understood what I needed to do. He’s been ready to help me rule as king of Varyn. I would be able to protect my people and keep my father from snatching them up to help him keep his oppressive rule on all of Zare, or them being attacked by other kingdoms. I will build Varyn back up to its former glory. If I could get the opportunity, I will even kill my father if I must. He should’ve been there for us. Maybe my mother would still be alive if he had. I’ve been biding my time with him.

I called up the portal with the crystal to Earth. I decided to land wherever on Earth the portal chose. I landed in a field in the middle of the night. I centered myself to Earth’s atmosphere and reached out my energy to try and sense anything with major magic. “It may be more difficult to sense her magic if she’s never used it.” Diablos said to me telepathically. “You’re right.” I closed my eyes again and felt out the largest source of magical energy. She may not have used her magic, but she will still leak magical energy into the world. I picked up something from the south and possibly west.

I began to move to the south. It took me a few hours before I came upon a town. I could’ve flown, but I’m trying to conserve my energy until the sun comes up. The sun had come up by the time I got to the town. I wore the closest thing to Earth clothes I could. I was wearing a gray tunic, black leggings, and black boots. I moved through the town trying to find a place where I could exchange the gold and gem pieces I had brought with me. I came across a jewelry store and I went in. They had just opened. I was greeted by a beautiful young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes.

“Hello sir, how may I help you?” I approached her and said, “I’m looking for whoever I need to talk to about selling some gem pieces and some gold.” “I’ll just have to get the manager.” She told me and moved to the back of the store and through a door. Soon, a middle-aged man appeared from the doorway, followed by the woman. He came to where I was standing. “I’m the manager, how can I help you sir?”

“As I told your saleswoman, I’m looking to sell some gem pieces and gold.” I pulled out a satchel tied to my belt just under my tunic. I opened the satchel and spilled the pieces onto the counter. The manager’s eyes seemed to bulge out of his eye sockets. He looked at me and said, “May I?” I nodded for him to continue. He picked up one of the bigger rubies and turned it in his fingers, catching the light. Then he pulled out a device that he put to his eye, and I guess it allowed him to look more closely at the gem.

“Exquisite.” I heard him whisper. He picked up each and every gem and checked with his ocular device. Finally, he put the last piece down. “I’m afraid I have some bad news sir.” “What is it?” I asked. “I don’t have enough cash on hand to purchase all of these gems.” He said. “Oh, well what can you give me, and I’ll throw in the rest of the gems without purchase.” I said. “Are these gems stolen?” He looked at me a little accusingly. “No sir, they are family heirlooms, but I need the money more then the gems.”

“In that case, I can give you one hundred thousand for what I can purchase with the cash I have on hand.” I agreed to it. “Ok sir, I need you to fill out these forms.” I looked him in the eye and used my glamour to make him forget the need to have me fill out the paperwork. I even left the extra gems and gold for him and his assistant to share. I gave him a scenario that someone other than me came into the store and sold him the gems and gold and had him fill out the paper accordingly. I also had him erase the footage from the security cameras. After he had put the gems away in the safe and paid me. I glamoured the saleswoman too.

We know how people on Earth do things. We do occasionally cross over to explore. The fairies and elves continue to cross and take care of nature on a regular basis. I come at least once a year if I’m able, but it’s been almost three years since my last visit. This is so I can keep up with what is happening here. Plus, its nice to get away from my father’s reach. He will never leave Zare. I made my way to a clothing store next and purchased a few items that would help me blend in better.
