I woke up to ‘Happy Birthday Mummy’ from Felix and Mable. They came running in with gifts and a breakfast they helped make with Pete. Felix had made me a birthday card with his drawings and Mable had stuck some stickers on it and drew a line across. This was my favourite kind of gift and something I liked to keep. I ate my breakfast and we planned to go to a theme park as a family. It wasn’t awkward with Pete. We acted like normal, two parents with their children. We had such a lovely day and often split up, taking a different child on each ride due to their heights. When we arrived home we got some takeaway food and all sat down to watch a movie.
