I was seething with anger. There was absolutely nothing that I could do. What was done was done. My inner wolf was completely silent. I thought she would be in pain too. I thought it would hurt more than this. Herd was gone. I wasn’t going to accept it, but I understood what had happened too. I think I was just in shock.
