REBECCA By the time we arrived at the cabin, I was both wrecked and happy: wrecked, because the children had both woken up halfway through the trip and, of course, had wanted me to put their favorite songs so they could sing at the top of their lungs, trying to be louder than the speakers, and happy because, in the end, Reiner and I had also joined their challenge - and we had spent a good hour singing - more like screaming - all together. Thank the Goddess it was just the four of us in the car: none of us had a particular talent for singing.
