It wasn’t a tiny basket by any means, and Becka’s thoughts started racing when she laid her eyes on it. She was trying to guess what delicious things Bryan had hidden in there. Becka couldn’t wait to partake in the picnic he had prepared. She also wondered why Bryan wouldn’t let her help him carry anything. From the look of things, he had too many things to take care of at the same time. The man had even draped a blanket over his shoulder. With his other hand on the small of her back, Bryan guided Becka to a cluster of trees not very far from the shore. “I remember that it’s a little meadow there, right in front of those trees,” Bryan explained to her.
