"Get up man." I hit him with the chemistry book and he clenches his jaw, finally opening his eyes.
"You can't just leave me alone can you." Blue groans rolling over.
"Not when I have Jude breathing down my neck." I snort.
"I don't know why you date that chick dude." He rolls his eyes and I sigh, sitting on his other bed that his parents bought specifically for me when I come over.
My second home.
"I like her."
"You like her? Or you're just trying to convince yourself that so you don't hurt her." He finally stands. Walking over to his phone. "Did you even have time to pray this morning or did she call first?"
"Shut up, I didn't see you get down on your knees." I shoot back.
"I'm always in a conversation with God dude."
"Whatever just hurry up."
Blue was my best friend since. . forever. He's the one who kept me in check with my boiling anger and the one who bailed me when I knew my mom would whoop my butt when I was drunk.
My mom is crazy.
Completely gone.
I love her to death but she worries me sometimes with that Moana movie that died years ago, and she's always in my dad's clothing it really does freak me out.
Yet I couldn't ask for someone more understanding. She doesn't try to be my friend however she's always willing to listen and smother me with her attention when I need it.
My dad also has his ways, but you'd often find us in the store shopping for junk or basketball shorts.
My relationship with my parents were something I cherished.
Jude is the girl I've been dating for the past six months now. She's clingy and has trust issues but after hearing her past I know why. But I don't feel the connection I want to feel with her, and I'm pretty sure I don't look at her the way my dad looks at my mom.
But I don't want to hurt her feelings by breaking up with her so here I am.
I groan, unlocking my phone since Blue was taking a whole year just to get ready.
Jude ❤ - Where are you? I've been waiting for at least fifteen minutes now.
Me- Just waiting on Blue.
Jude ❤- Hurry up, I miss you.
Me- See you soon.
He finally emerges, dressed in black skinny jeans and a red plain T-shirt. His baseball hat, much like mine was worn backwards.
'Finally?" I groan out standing.
"Shut up. You're going to make me get drooled on by Ms. I'm The Queen B's Friend So You Have To Date me."
I laugh at that as he rolls his eyes, shoving socks onto his feet and pushing them into his Nike slides. "I don't think that's her name Blue."
"I thought I said shut up?"
Blue hates hanging out around them, but he has to because I'm not going down alone.
We head downstairs to meet Mr. And Mrs. Coral.
"Morning." He replies gruffly.
"There's my two college boys." His dad greets.
"Hey sweetie, where are you to off to?" She smiles at the both of us.
"Just to hang out before school tomorrow, I'll eat out."
"Don't get into any trouble boys." Mr. Coral adds in, giving us a stern look but we both grinned at him.
"Never." We replied instantaneously as we tried to fit out of the doorway together.
"Your shoulders are too wide that's why." He sniggers and I roll my eyes.
"Whatever, at least I'm not a goat."
"You sound like your mother."
"I know."

"Hey babe." Jude drawls as she gets in, her friend Hayley getting in the back.
"Hey." I smile as she kisses my cheek. She hand long black hair, and pretty freckles that scattered her face. She was slim and short, but you did not want to anger her. She had normal brown eyes but she was attractive.
Just not for me.
"Blue!"
"Hayley." He greets, glaring at me from the rearview mirror and I give him a sympathetic look as he latches onto his arm.
She wasn't bad either with the same hair but green eyes and a paler complexion.
"Can we go to Timmy's?" I nod, driving us to the little cafe near her house. "You look good babe." She whispers lowly, placing her hand on my thigh and I resist the thought to move them.
"Thanks." I clip.
A few minutes later we're walking in Blue grumbling the whole way. I look around lazily as we walk towards the order station. I let Jude order as my eyes land on a female not to far from the booth Blue sat at.
She was crying, her palms desperately trying to wipe away the tears as her friend, or whoever she was sat trying to talk to her.
She was beautiful. Neck length brown wavy hair, hazel gold eyes, and a mixed, darker than light complexion.
Her cheeks were covered with moisture and I wanted to know why. She started talking shaking her head as her plump pink lips moved.
"Draco!" Jude exclaims and I turn to her voice, a frown on my face. She was pouting with her arms crossed.
"Were you just ignoring me for another female?" She raises an eyebrow and I stifle an eye roll.
"How much is it?" I ask the cashier who was also staring at the girl in the booth.
"30.95." She says and I hand her a 50 dollar bill, taking the order.
"Keep the change."
We sat right across from her and I sat at the end trying desperately to listen to what she was saying.
". . cheated. . . trusted him. . I can't tell my dad. . . I feel so betrayed. . ."
Someone cheated on her?
I would listen in more if someone wasn't too busy screeching in my ears about how good the food is.
"Jude you've eaten here a million times."
"I know but it just tastes so good every time."
I shake my head as Blue rolls his eyes shoving food into his mouth so he won't have to answer Hayley.
The next I see is her friend standing and her also as she wipes her tears.
She sniffs, and her eyes make contact with mine. Widening as mine do and she almost stops walking. I can hear her clear her throat as she hesitantly looks away, but not before turning back to look at me as she goes through those glass doors.
