43. Tre Needs A Boat

We're a little late for the morning meeting, so everyone is there already. Tobias and Elek are here again. I have no idea why Tobias is here so much. I don't give a s**t though. "Good morning everyone."

Dipak smiles. "Yesterday went well. And we figured that the spa would hold probably 70 people without problems."

"Yea, it is a big spa. Daddy, did you see any of it other than the outdoor pool?"

"No, my princess. No reason to move from that spot."

"I'm glad you liked it daddy."

"I really did my princess. You did amazing. Hell, both you kids did."

"Thank you."

"Thank you daddy."

Dipak winks. "We do have to straighten out who is running what. I'm afraid you can't possibly run the spa, massage center, spa shop, and the packages store. It's too much."

Tre stops him. "Elek is taking over the running of the packages store. I talked about it with him. She is going to own it. She can approve the packages. I want her to know everything about it. But he is going to be the front of that. That way, she doesn't take the pressure for it. Also, until the spa's and massage centers get done in every resort that wants them. Elek is going to run the spa shops with me. I'm going to do the paperwork. He's going to do the stocking and ordering."

Dipak puts his eyebrows down. "What is your thought process on bringing Elek in to run her stores?"

"He's good at it. He helped build it. He knows more about the packages shop than any of us. He built them really. He knows everything in the spa shop. He understands supply and demand. He knows how to keep everything stocked. And if you think about it, Nadine didn't start 1 business in Tye's resort. She started 4. With the potential of 5 at the other resorts. That is too many for a teenager all at once. On the other hand, all of us are starting inns. We're busy as hell. Do any of you have time to run 2 or 3 more businesses per resort?"

"No."

"Exactly. Elek can run the packages stores. He agreed on 10% of the profits. Nadine still owns them. All the buying and selling will be done with her money. She will pay all the bills and buy the supplies. He will be there to run the place and make sure the packages are selling. It is a good set up. As for the spa store. I suggested keeping it at 10% of the profits for that. Elek agreed. Nadine hasn't had the chance to agree or disagree yet."

"I agree. Sorry, that was fast. I couldn't even get out of the massage area. By the time I got down to the packages store, I didn't even have enough patience left to look around. There's a lot going on there. If he has the time and energy to help me, I will take it. Elek is good at business."

"Alright. Elek is going to run the package and spa stores."

Tye nods. "Can you run some of mine too?"

Tre puts an eyebrow up. "What? What do you mean, Tye?"

"Everything is its own damn business. The bar snacks are a business. The kids' clubs are a business. The bar. The restaurant. The pizza. Fishing. The ice cream. The inn itself with the rooms. The rental shop. They are separate businesses. It's a lot."

Thora smiles. "I'll do the kids' clubs. I know how to do the paperwork and everything. You'll have to check it. Every month. And I don't need paid for it. The profits on it won't be much anyway. But maybe you could put the 10% profits back into an account that I can use to buy supplies for crafts and stuff. Would that help?"

"Yea, that would help. It would be 1 less thing I have to do."

Dipak smiles. "Everyone in favor of Thora running the kids' clubs at resorts."

The boys put up their hands.

Thora looks around. "Oh."

"We want you to run the kids' clubs. All the activities for them. We will all put 20% of the profits our clubs make into an account for you to buy supplies with. Also, 10% of the profits will go directly to you. If that amount is under 1k monthly. We will split the difference and pay it."

Frode writes something down.

"I would love that. I have so many ideas."

Dipak nods. "Good. I was hoping you would do it."

Elek looks at Tye. "I can run the swimsuit shop no problem. It's set up like Nadine's spa store. Even the vouchers are good in both places. And I could probably do 1 more if you have a preference."

"Fishing. Do the fishing."

"Ok."

"I'll do 10% at the shop. I have no idea about fishing. I can't even wrap my head around it. It is so f*****g stressful."

Tre nods. "I will go in with Elek, and we'll figure it out. But Elek can run the fishing. You're done with it."

"Thank God." Tye lays his head on the table.

I smile. "The fishing probably won't go past just Tye's resort. Unless you're excellent at it and Dipak pirates 5 more ships."

Bud nods. "I wouldn't put that past my son. He's not that far from open water in Rome, Italy either."

"That's true. And could you imagine it in Egypt? Maybe not fishing. No way in hell would I fish the Nile. But say you get on a boat, go down the Nile for an hour. Get off the boat and onto a camel. Then ride the camel through the desert to see the pyramids. How awesome would that trip be? You would get to see the Nile, ride a camel, see the desert, then see a pyramid. All in 1 trip. Then do it backwards to get back. I would pay a lot for that."

Tre starts writing fast.

I smile at Marcus. "I know you don't have a spot picked. But you could always do something like bear hunting or seal hunting excursions. You could do ice fishing."

Marcus winks. "Woman, you are a f*****g genius."

Tre sits up. "Get me a pirate ship."

I jump up. "LET'S GO BE PIRATES."

Thora jumps up. "YES."

Coral runs for the door. "I NEED MY HAT."

Tye stands up. "I'll make us a door."

"No, sit down." Dipak stands up. "We can not leave."

Johen stands up. "We're leaving. Tre needs a boat."

Tre stands up. "I need a boat."

Nikolas, Elek, Kane, and Mary stand up.

Then Gunner stands up. "I'll come with you. Alexa likes the water."

Kane smiles. "I can't let them go alone, they'll be going in circles."

Johen rubs his eyes. "That's the plan. We go in circles until pirates attack us. Then we get Tre a boat."

"And then they go in circles with 2 boats because they can't figure out how to get back."

Tobias looks around. "I want to go on the boat too."

"SAMSON WANTS TO COME. SOMEONE MAKE ME A DOOR SO I CAN GET MY HAT." Thora runs over to the door.

Omar stands up. "I'll go with you. I can teach Nikolas and Elek some magic. They need to work on orbs."

Tre pulls Tobias up so he's standing.

Dipak looks around. "Ok. But can we at least finish this part of the meeting before we go?"

We all nod and sit down.

Dipak and Marcus lose it. I think they've been holding that in.

Coral and Thora come back. "I got my hat."

"Did you remember your mate?"

"SHIT." She runs back to the door.

"At least she got the hat."

Rick looks at Tye. "I can do the ice cream and the pizza places for you. My life is so weird without balancing any books at the end of the month."

"Thank you."

"My pleasure. I'll be glad to get back into numbers."

Dipak stands up. "If you're going. Go pack. Don't forget your mates. Tobias, you can come. It's fine. We're going to be pirate bait, apparently. Get some clothes and some stuff to swim in."

Omar stands up. "I can make a door to your castle and back. It'll be faster."

Tobias goes through the door with Omar. Everyone else goes to the elevators.

Dipak and Marcus are the only 2 left. "Thank you for letting us go be pirates. It's been so long."

"Of course, sweetheart. Did you want to reset the bonds before we go?"

"No." I shake my head. "Thank you though."

"Why angel?"

I shrug my shoulders. "It hurts."

"And?"

"No. It hurts." I go for the elevator.

"Sit back down." Marcus looks at Dipak. "Who is having bond issues?"

"Tye and Nikolas, as far as I know."

"It hurts, and it makes me pass out. I don't like it."

"How are things going with Tye?"

"They are going great."

"And Nikolas?"

... I sit there for a minute. Then I shake my head. "I don't think I have a bond with him. I don't want to find out. Do not reset the bonds."

"Sweetheart."

"No. I removed him from the throne. I feared for the lives of everyone here because of him. I slept in a cave because of him. You may have forgotten that, but I haven't. Do not reset the bonds."

Dipak shakes his head. "And the fact that the bond between you and Elek would have snapped?"

"That's an added bonus. He'll never know I cared."

"Why would the bond have snapped?"

"I'm sworn to secrecy."

I walk down to their end. "He was sad when he left 1 day. I didn't know why. But I cared. I felt bad for him. I wanted to know why. So, I red roomed him. He was talking to his brothers about going out and getting laid that night. Then he said something about not kissing other girls in front of me anymore, so I would relax and think he likes me. So yea, I was stupid again and cared about someone I shouldn't have. But don't worry, I never had s*x with him."

"Then why did you involve him in your businesses angel?"

"Because nothing can go on between us now. We're in business together. Plus, he is good at it. But now, I have to stop everything with him and blame it on the fact we're running stores together. He'll never know what I saw. It's over."

"How did he take that?"

"He doesn't know. He'll find out if he ever tries to kiss me again."

"Sweetheart."

They start laughing. Then the elevator dings and Nikolas comes in.

"What are you talking about?"

"Tobias."

"What about him?"

"Why is he here? Does he live here? He annoys me. He kisses me then forgets I exist. He offers to have s*x with me and gets immediately thrown out a window. Then he won't look at me. Now he gets to go on a boat with us. I'm so damn confused. Are we killing him or moving him in? Also, I will continue to talk to him. Maybe I will get another kiss. Or get to watch him get thrown off the boat. Both options are entertaining."

The boys laugh.
