6. 9 Days

I climb out of bed and stretch. Tye is out on the couch. Johen and Elroy are in beds. I kick the table and grab my foot.
Elek glances at me over his paper he's reading.
Tye jumps up and grabs me. He pulls me down on him. "It's ok babydoll." He rubs my back and I go back to sleep.
The next time I wake up. I sneak off Tye and stretch. The boys are still asleep. Omar and Elek are at the balcony table reading papers.
I sit between them. "I'm hungry."
"Wait for the boys to wake up, then we'll have lunch."
"Ok." My eyes close again. I put my legs on Eleks lap and stretch out.
He rubs the top of my foot and my ankle.
I wake up on the balcony couch. Tye is complaining he's hungry.
"Let everyone else wake up, and we'll get some food."
I move over to the table.
"You feel better, babydoll?"
"Yea, I'm sorry I tried to stab you and then pushed you in the water."
"I deserved it after I wouldn't give you the gong stick."
"You really did."
They all laugh and Elroy comes out. "I'm hungry."
Omar nods. "1 more to wake up, and we'll eat."
Elroy gives him a dirty look. "Why can't we eat now?"
"Because then you will all eat at different times, which means, you will get hungry at different times. And we are not doing that fiasco again."
Then Tre picks me up. He sits me on his lap. "Did you eat yet? I'm hungry."
"Getting ready for that Tre. They are apparently starving."
"Yea, better to wait until they're up."
"HEY DICKHEAD I'M HUNGRY." Tye yells at the door.
"Thank you."
Johen stumbles out. "I'm hungry too."
Elek and Omar put down their papers. "Should we have the same meal we've had since we got here?"
Elek drops his head back. "Something different at least."
"CHEESE PIZZA."
"UGH."
Tye hands us each a paper. "Pick what you want."
I share Tre's paper. There's all kinds of stuff on it. "I'll have the same thing I've had since I got here."
Omar looks at Tre. "She finds something she likes and never changes it."
Tre smiles. "Yea, she'll eat the same thing until we make her eat something else. Like cheese pizza. I had to make her start eating meat again. Or at least order meat and vegetables with it."
A half hour later, we're done eating.
"No swimming for an hour after you eat. You'll get sick. So everyone go sketch something for the China inn."
"You made that up because you don't want to leave the balcony."
"No, it's real. You'll get cramps." Tre looks at Tye. "We are attacking the Blayze village in the morning. If you want to be there, you have to come back tonight. It's going to be early. Dipak's going to have Mary sound the alarm to wake everyone up."
Tye smirks. "I won't miss that."
"Yea, I didn't figure. Plan on an early night."
"No problem."
Johen sits up. "I want to go."
"It's too risky. Hopefully you'll be in the next 1."
"This 1 is personal."
Tre nods. "We know. But it's not worth your life. You'll be with us soon. Don't let it get to you."
"How soon?"
Omar looks at him. "It's only like 4 months now, Johen. It's not long."
"Seems like forever."
-Let me check him again. A lot has happened.-
-Ok.-
My eyes go red. I feel Johen's head. "You should know. Once you get the dragon. You will not be war ready. When you get the dragon, the training begins. You must train with the dragon. You must learn to fight and use swords. This will begin only after you retrieve your dragon."
"How long now?"
"9 days."
Omar sits his paper down. "I thought there were still months left."
"I do believe the therapy is helping them. The true queen stood before you today. And then hours later, she shoved her mate into a fishpond." They all laugh. "But you caught a glimpse of her. She is getting stronger. Just like Johen and Tye are. They are growing so fast now. Stay patient and loving. It will work out."
Tre smiles. "Thank you."
I nod and release the power. "What did she say?"
"9 days."
"That's soon."
Johen jumps up. "I NEED TO GO TO THERAPY."
"You have to stay here. You can not go back right now."
"Well then, send them here. We got 3 floors of rooms."
"I'll send a couple. But keep them on a different floor."
Tye looks at Tre. "I'll go back with you now. That way I can hear the speeches."
"Yea, that would probably be a good idea."
Tye stands up and takes my hand. He leads me in the bedroom. "I'll connect with you tomorrow as soon as I can. Or I'll show up if you're sleeping."
I sit on his lap. "Be careful Tye. It's still war, even if the brains are there."
"I know babydoll. I have to see this done though. I love you."
"I love you too."
He gives me a kiss and helps me stand up. "Tomorrow babydoll." He kisses my hand and leaves.
Tre comes in and gives me a big hug. "I lied to Tye. We don't want him getting drunk or staying up half the night and oversleeping. We're not attacking until early afternoon. I'll connect with you in the morning. Or maybe come and have lunch with you."
"I would like that."
He kisses me. "Me too, baby." Then he kisses my marking spot. "I need my queen after it's over tomorrow. I am missing you so much."
I feel a spasm of pleasure shoot out from between my legs. I tighten my legs together, and he smirks. "I guess I'm not the only 1." He kisses my other marking spot. Then he grabs my ass. "I am definitely making you scream my name tomorrow. I'll see how many times I can get it to come out of these pretty lips." He runs his thumb over my lips then kisses them again.
"I love you Tre."
"I love you baby."
I collect my head then step out of the bedroom to Johen dragging a therapist by me. 2 more follow them.
I go back to the balcony table.
Omar stands up. "You're down to 2. I'm leaving. If anymore show up, summon me back."
I put my elbow on the table. Then I put my chin in my hand. "I'm bored."
Elroy does the same thing. "Me too."
"Go start on the China sketches. At least get something on paper. Give whoever leads it some ideas."
Elroy asks, "Are you going to do 1 too?"
"I wasn't planning on it."
I sit back. "I don't want to either, it's boring."
"Yea, we can come up with something else."
"But I will. We can each do 1 and see whose is better."
Elroy and I jump up. "OK."
A couple of hours later, Johen shows up in the room and sketches too.
After that, we have dinner and Elek tells us how amazing our sketches are. I put them up. We did sketch some good stuff.
Then me and Johen get some ice cream and walk on the beach. We watch the sunset before we come back in.
As soon as we get in the room, he kisses me so sweetly.
"It'll be over soon baby."
"I know. I hate every part of this."
"Let's get some sleep. We can deal with everything in the morning."
After 10 minutes of teasing each other, we make love and fall asleep.
It's a horrible sleep. I keep waking up and dreaming about the boys being hurt. I toss and turn. Then I get up and put my pajamas on. I sit on the balcony. Johen comes out after a couple of minutes wearing only pants.
"You are so sexy sir."
"Well, thank you. I always thought so too." I turn around and Elroy is on the next balcony smiling at us.
We laugh.
Then Elek comes out. "Why in the hell are you all awake?"
"You let us take too long of a nap."
Johen nods. "You should have taken a nap too. Then you wouldn't be so cranky right now."
"Alright, let's watch a movie."
We go to my room. Johen points Elroy to a chair and Elek to the other side of the couch. He puts me between him and Elek. He thinks I don't notice what he's doing.
I let them try. I end up lying over both of them. They put me to sleep, then Nikolas pops in my head. Or him killing 1 of my boys. Then I wake up in tears. They put me back to sleep.
Then I open my eyes. I get summoned back home.
I run to Tre's office. I love him so much. I run in and watch Nikolas grab him from behind. "NNNNOOOOO!" I sit straight up and scream.
Elroy sits up on the bed by us. "What the hell?"
"Go back to sleep, Elroy."
Johen picks me up. "Come on. This isn't working." He carries me to my bedroom. "Take your shirt off and lay down. She needs skin contact." Johen drops me on the bed by him. I cry.
"Easy Johen. She's trying."
"I know. I'm f*****g exhausted. I'm sorry baby. Try to get some sleep."
I lay over them and pass out.
