Did we just... kiss!?
"Let's get out of here!" The bad guys ran out of the alley.
I immediately pushed Lukeweynn. We both stood up.
"Are you okay? Are you not hurt?" He asked me in worry, but I ignored his question.
"You! Why did you kiss me!?" I asked him, my brows snapped together.
"Excuse me?"
"Stop playing clueless. You just kissed me!"
"I didn't kiss you."
"Yes, you did!"
"I didn't."
I scoffed. “And you're kidding me right now? Our lips pressed together and then you will tell me you didn't kiss me?"
He laughed a little.
"And you're laughing?" Damn! He’s making me annoyed.
"Okay, hold on. I didn't do it intentionally, okay? One of them kicked me and I fell on top of you, and then my lips accidentally touched your..."
"Stop!" I cut him off. "I don't want to hear it," I said, turned my back, and walked away. This is crazy. A man just kissed me! Damn!
"Hey, wait up!" He followed me. "Are you mad? I'm sorry. I didn't do it intentionally."
I ignored him and just kept walking to my car. He's really annoying.
"Hey, are you really mad? Come on! Why are you mad, Jake? It was just a kiss. Don't make it... a big deal."
Just a kiss?
What the!? Does he know what he is saying? Just a kiss? Don't make it a big deal? Seriously?
I stopped walking and faced him.
"Hey!" I pointed to him. "Do you know that my lips are still virgin, huh!?"
"Really?"
I frowned. "Really??" Raising my eyebrows.
"Are you serious? If so, I'm your first kiss?" A smile grew on his lips.
What the? Did he just smile? Is he gay and is he happy with that kiss?
He touched his lips. "Now I know why your lips taste free of chemicals."
"What!? Chemicals?!”
He puts his hands inside his pockets. "Me too. That was my first kiss also." He chuckled. "I can't believe my first kiss would come to a man." He said while smiling mischievously, shaking his head.
Huh! He's really... crazy!
"Be honest with me. Are you gay?" I asked.
He chuckled silently. "I'm not. Didn't I already tell you that? Why are you still asking?"
I looked at him from head to toe, suspiciously. It seems like he is one of them. Who knows? He might just be pretending not to be.
"I know what you are thinking, but I am not gay. I am interested in women. Okay?" He said, emphasizing the word gay. I was about to talk when his phone rang.
He took his phone out of his pocket. "Wait a sec." He said to me before he answered the call.
"What's up? What? Didn't I tell you to cancel all my meetings today? Fine. Be there." He hung up the call and looked at me.
Looks like he needs to do something now with his company, ah? What perfect timing! I don't even want to be with him. I want to go to my Queen's house.
"It's okay, bro. You can go. Work first." I said to him while smiling brightly.
Hurry and go, man! So I can go to my Queen's house!
"Okay. Come with me."
I stopped smiling and raised an eyebrow. "I’m sorry, what?”
"Come with me. Give me a ride."
I scoffed. “Why would I do that? Go, take a cab."
"I can't. I don't like taking public transportation."
"Then... Call your secretary. You have a secretary, don't you? Call him to pick you up."
"Aren't we on a date today?"
"Huh?"
"We are on a date, right? Shouldn't his boyfriend be driving his boyfriend?”
“Huh!? Who told you that I am your boyfriend!?”
“Me. I have just said it now. Give me a ride. Take me to my company. Come with me, wait for me until my meeting is over. After that, let's go to the place you want to go."
"Huh!?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Let's go. I don't have time." He quickly got into my car.
What the?
I also got in my car, in the driver's seat.
"Go, drive. Slowly," he winks at me.
Gosh! He's really...! Damn it!
"Whatever," I slightly rolled my eyes. I fastened my seatbelt, then I drove my car away.
Tch. I thought I could get rid of this weird guy. Tch! Annoying.
"So, would you mind telling me about yourself?" He spoke in the middle of our journey.
“Why do you wanna know?”
"Maybe because we're getting married soon. It's weird if I don't even know the background of the person I'm going to marry."
Ew! He really mentioned marriage. Tss. Didn't he feel terrified of what he was saying?
"Are we really getting married for real? I mean, we can just go on a fake marriage."
"No, we can't."
"Huh? Why is that?"
"Let's just say, no one can fool my parents. When they find out that I only have a fake marriage, they will laugh at me. Certainly, they will force me to marry someone I don't like. Don't worry, you don't have to have real feelings for me." He chuckled. "All I need is a real marriage."
"Of course. I don't like men. I am not gay. Tss."
"Neither do I."
"You know, I don't understand."
"Which one do you not understand?"
"Why do you have to marry a man instead of a woman? Won't your parents laugh at you when they find out that you married a man?”
Even though Dad told me the reason, I still couldn't understand.
“Also, it's not just your parents who will laugh at you, the public people too. You know, you are a CEO and a well-known person. Aren't you worried that it might affect your image?”
"If I marry a woman, they will have no choice but to agree. And I don't want that to happen. Other than that, they might have forced me to have a child. I also don't want that to happen. Yes, they will laugh at me when they find out that I married a man, but I don't care. My main goal here is to turn down their plan. And I don’t care about other people. I know myself better than them.” He smiled. “My image is permanent, don’t worry about that.”
I scoffed. He’s really confident at that, huh?
"Okay. Okay. But wait, didn't you say you're not gay? But why do you look like one of them?" I asked, bewildered. I feel like he was telling me that he is not into women.
He chuckled. "Why? Do you feel like I'm not interested in women?"
How did he know what I was thinking? Tss. So, can he read my mind now?
“Maybe,” I shrugged my shoulders.
"It's not that I am not interested in women. It's just... I already have someone that I like."
