Vic looked at Selena. He couldn't lie to himself that he still loved Selena very much.
"I am sorry. But I have family here, Selena. I want to see them. They're worried about me," Vic replied. He was still staring at Selena, who looked angry. Selena seemed to be very worried. Vic immediately stood up. He went to the kitchen to make a drink for Selena.
Selena looked at Vic from the direction of the living room because the house was small, like an apartment.
"Vic, Edward's changed," Selena said. She wanted to complain to Vic.
Vic listened from the kitchen. He was Selena's go-to guy for anything she felt for a long time. They had known each other since childhood, so Vic knew what Selena was like.
