Virgie looked at Vic and Edward. She had to make sure what Edward said was true.
Vic nodded his head. "Everything is alright," Vic said.
"Don't get hurt," Virgie said. She then sat by Vic's side.
Edward glanced at Virgie, who chose to sit with Vic. "What are you doing?" Edward asked.
"What?" Virgie replied.
"Why don't you sit next to me?" Edward asked.
"I'm not yours," Virgie said casually.
Vic smiled when he heard Virgie's answer, which kicked Edward in the butt. He liked that Virgie was not a weak woman around Edward.
"Why are you laughing?" Edward felt that Vic was teasing him.
