Vic noticed Virgie's expression. He was also worried about Selena, but Vic couldn't just leave Virgie.
"Do you want me to take you home?" Vic asked.
Virgie tried to wipe away her tears. She then looked at Vic. She felt that Vic also wanted to go after Selena.
"Go," Virgie said. She even forced herself to smile.
Vic felt bad for Virgie. "W-what? Why are you telling me to...."
"It's okay. I know you're worried about Selena too. Go on. Take a look at her condition. I can go home by myself."
Vic hesitated, but his mind struggled. He could have pretended he wasn't worried about Selena, but Virgie didn't want to get in his way.
"Okay. I'll come to your house as soon as I'm done with Selena," Vic said.
Virgie nodded. "Don't be in a hurry. I'm okay," Virgie replied.
