Chapter Eight
RIVER
I’ve barely scanned my keycard and opened the door before Alex’s mouth and hands are on me. The moment I saw him tonight, something inside me ignited, a deep desire I’d been fighting to acknowledge. Perhaps getting some of that liquid courage helped me realize I wanted him as much as he wanted me.
I cling to him as he kicks the door shut and pushes us deeper into the room. He’s pulling at my dress while I undo his belt buckle and tug at the button of his jeans. Soon I’m standing in just my bra and panties while he kicks off his boots. As he cups my breast, our mouths crash together. Strong arms wrap around my waist as he pulls me up and my legs instinctively wrap around him.
“Alex!” I squeal with laughter as he walks us closer to the bed.
