Watching Talon hand over a 100-million-dollar check, the Willis family was stunned! It had been five years! Could it be that this once destitute wanderer had become a millionaire?
But then, Corey was the first to react, sneering. "Marry you? Looked in the mirror! 100 million? How could a piece of trash like you have 100 million?"
Lord Willis was already suspicious of the check's authenticity. Hearing Corey, he directly grabbed the check and tore it into pieces.
"Listen up! I need you to get out of here right now! Let me make it clear: the Philadelphia's Gray family is not one to mess with! The head of the Gray family will be arriving any minute. If you value your life, you better get out while you still can!"
Talon ignored him completely. "You tore up that a hundred million dollars yourself. From now on, Ariya doesn't belong to the Willis family."

"Mr. Stormy! Mr. Stormy!" At this moment, Otto accompanied Jack as they hurried over.

Jack glared at the old guy and cursed, "Shut up! It's not your place to speak here!"
Lord Willis thought he had misheard!
But then, under everyone's astonished gazes, Jack trembled, walked up to Talon, and bowed deeply. "Mr. Stormy, I beg for your forgiveness on behalf of my son and the Gray family. I had no idea that Ariya was your wife!"
This scene left the Willis family stunned. The dignified chairman of Primey Group was bowing to a man they considered a vagrant!
Lord Willis felt like his mind was playing tricks on him. What on earth was happening? This nobody had somehow compelled the head of the Gray family to apologize to him!
"Are you Jack Gray, the patriarch of the Gray family?" Talon asked with his hands behind his back.
"Yes, yes, it's me." Jack didn't even dare to lift his head because last night Otto had told him everything about Talon. A lieutenant general in the army was not someone the Gray family could afford to offend!
"From now on, your Gray family will work for me, and become my servants, serving me for life," Talon said calmly.
Jack was on the verge of tears. 'Bertie, you brat, you have completely ruined me!'
"Jack, thank the general now!" Otto urged from the side.
"Thank you for sparing us, Mr. Stormy." Jack conceded, resigned to his fate. "I am your servant, always at your service!"
Talon waved his hand, and only then did Jack get up, instructing the bodyguards to help Bertie up.
When he passed by the Willis family, Lord Willis stopped him. They had only seen Jack bow to Talon, but they hadn't heard the conversation between the two.
"Master Gray, about Ariya and Bertie's wedding..."
How dare he bring up the wedding again! Jack's forehead was throbbing with anger. If Talon weren't here, he'd have slapped those Willis family members himself! If they hadn't been so insistent on marrying off Ariya, would Bertie have ended up in such big trouble?
Now, even he had to be Talon's servant for life!
"The wedding's off! And all cooperation with the Willis family is terminated! Mateo, you've done enough damage, and now you still want to talk about cooperation!" Jack stormed out in anger.
The Willis family was dumbfounded when they heard Jack say this.
The Willis family was in massive debt and had been relying on cooperation with Primey Group to get through their current difficulties!
But now, at this critical moment, Primey Group suddenly announced the termination of cooperation. How would the Willis family get by now?
"Mr. Gray, Lord Gray, wait for me! Wait!" Lord Willis panicked and chased after him.
Jack ignored him and walked downstairs.
"Lord Gray, I beg you! Let me say something!" Lord Willis blocked the car door, preventing Jack from leaving.
"What else do you want to say?" Jack, sitting in the car, looked annoyed and disgusted. He just wanted to leave quickly and make the Willis family disappear from his sight.
"Lord Gray, how can you go back on your word? That Talon is just a vagrant. Today, you bowed to him to save your son; we understand that. But don't worry, tomorrow I'll find some people to capture him, and you can deal with him as you wish!"
"Mateo! If you're looking to get yourself killed, leave me out of it!" Jack's head felt like it was about to explode. Capturing a lieutenant general? He was really asking for trouble! "I'm telling you. I'm dead set on calling off this wedding! It was my biggest mistake to push for my son to marry Ariya!"
"Lord Gray, I..." Mateo was stunned.
"Lord Willis, do you still not know who your son-in-law is?" Otto couldn't stand it anymore.
"Just some piece of trash, with a few years in the army. What's so impressive about that?" Corey interjected.
"Huh, trash?" Otto laughed. "Do you think I'm impressive in Philadelphia? But in front of that man, I'm not even fit to be his lackey! Is this the trash you're talking about?"
"This..." Mateo was stunned, watching the car drive away.
"Dad, is what he said... true?" Norah was also in a daze.
"Maybe Otto said it on purpose to break off the engagement; don't take it seriously." Corey sneered.
"Hey, right! Didn't he give us a hundred-million-dollar check? Let's go to the bank and see if it's real!" Norah suddenly thought of something. "Dad, where's the check?"
"I... I tore it up!" Mateo finally reacted, feeling deeply regretful. If Otto wasn't lying, that check might have been real!
"Tore it up?" Norah's voice changed with anxiety. "That was one hundred million!"
