This scene terrified Norah, who quickly blocked the gun. "Go! Why don't you move?"
Bertie was pulled outside by Norah. He wet his pants but cursed inwardly. 'You think you're tough with a gun? Just wait a few minutes! Today, I'll make sure you regret this!'
Bertie stormed out of the ward and dialed a number. "Hey, cousin Otto, I'm being bullied at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. They're armed!"
"Yes, bring a squad over quickly. I want to see how far this loser can go!"

"Ariya, I know you have many questions for me." After a long silence in the hospital room, Talon finally spoke.
Ariya looked up, hoping for an explanation for his five-year disappearance.
"I want to answer your questions, but right now, I'm constrained. I can't explain anything to you because of military secrecy. Everything we do is classified, even to those closest to us!"
Then Talon added. "Just know that I never left you. I'm here now to make up for everything I owe you over these past five years. Is this little girl... our daughter?" He finally noticed the daughter in the hospital bed, wearing a breathing mask.
"Yes! Her name is Maisy. She's four years old."
Ariya stopped crying and said, "A month ago, Maisy started running a persistent fever. Previous small wounds on her hands wouldn't heal and kept bleeding. I brought her to the hospital, and the doctors said... leukemia! But if we find a matching bone marrow and afford the one million dollars surgery, there's a 99% chance of curing her."
Ariya looked at Talon in pain. "But I haven't found a matching donor, and I don't have a million dollars. During this month in the hospital, I've used up all my savings. I'm out of options..."
"I'll handle this." Talon carefully put Maisy's hand back under the covers and quickly issued orders to the few people behind him.
"Nightwing, fetch the top domestic experts immediately. They must arrive in Philadelphia tomorrow morning to treat my daughter! Steelclaw, head to the capital. Report the Middle East situation and my daughter's illness. Flamestrike, go buy some toys."
"Yes!" The three guards straightened up simultaneously and turned to carry out their orders.
Seeing Talon with only one guard left, Bertie regained confidence. Even though his cousin hadn't arrived yet, he had brought several bodyguards, enough to handle Talon. So Bertie barged into the hospital room again. "Punk, I'll give you one more chance. Leave Ariya now, and I can pretend nothing happened!"
Talon narrowed his eyes slightly. "My daughter is seriously ill. She needs rest. I don't want any bloodshed! Consider this my last warning: if you bother Ariya again, I'll deal with you myself, and you won't like it!"
"Haha, how? I'd love to see who ends up dead!" Bertie scoffed, eyeing the bodyguards behind him. "Deal with him! I'll handle the consequences!"
Instantly, his men drew knives and charged forward.
Norah watched nearby, feeling vindicated. 'How can you fight so many bodyguards with only one guard?'
But what Norah didn't expect was that almost immediately, screams of agony filled the air!
Bertie's eight bodyguards had their bones crushed, emitting horrifying screams.
"Punk!" Azureblade wiped his hands and looked at the eight writhing men on the ground disdainfully, approaching Bertie.
Bertie was dumbfounded. 'Could a human have such terrifying strength?'
Bertie instinctively stepped back, trying to sound fierce. "Stop approaching me! Do you know who my cousin is? He's Otto Gray, First Sergeant of the Philadelphia National Guard! Cross me, and you'll regret it!"
"Otto?" Talon repeated, his voice laced with a sneer. Azureblade turned to him, looking puzzled, wondering if it was the same Otto who once served in the Dragon Nest.
Bertie was still oblivious to the situation. When he saw Azureblade hesitate at the mention of Otto's name, he regained his confidence.
"That's right! Otto is my cousin! He's already bringing a whole squadron here. If you don't want to die here, let Ariya marry me tomorrow. Also, bow down and apologize! Maybe then my cousin will go easy on you!"
"Where's Otto now?" Talon suddenly chuckled.
"Bertie, you asked for a squad. Is there a problem?" Just then, a team of guards suddenly appeared behind Bertie, led by a First Sergeant in military uniform, emanating authority and determination.
Bertie immediately relaxed, smiling apologetically. "Cousin, you have to help me with this! This guy is Ariya's homeless husband. He pulled a gun on me as soon as he came back."
As Bertie spoke, he pointed at Talon, and Otto looked in that direction.
With just one look, the highly respected First Sergeant in Philadelphia trembled all over! Even before Bertie could finish his words, he saluted reflexively . "Philadelphia National Guard, First Sergeant Otto, reporting in, General!"
Talon didn't acknowledge him. He just said, "Since you're already a First Sergeant in the National Guard, there's no need for formalities with me."
Otto's eyes flickered with fear as he instantly straightened up. "I am your soldier. Wherever you go, I will follow."
Bertie was stunned, shaking uncontrollably, cold sweat dripping down. 'My cousin... He's under this waste's command? It's done! I'm dead meat now!'
"Otto, your Gray family is pretty formidable, huh?" Azureblade remarked coldly. "Your cousin dares to force our General's wife to marry him. I never thought it's you who is backing him!"
Otto's mind buzzed, his face turning pale. Did Bertie want to destroy the entire family? How dare he compete with the General for a woman!
"I had no knowledge of this, but I'll answer to the General!" Otto turned back angrily and glared at Bertie.
Bertie was now in a panic. He hurriedly said, "Cousin, listen to me. It's just because..."
"You piece of trash!" Before Bertie could finish, Otto swiftly drew his sidearm, aiming it at Bertie's head. "Who do you think you are? How dare you insult the General and try to force yourself on the General's wife! Today, it's not just you—even your father or grandfather would face execution for this!"
Bertie was terrified. He stared at the dark muzzle and lost control, a liquid trickling down from his body. "Cousin, please don't kill me! I don't want to die, please!"
