Chapter 67: What A Moody Person

"Stop there!" The man held Xander's elbow.

"What is it now?" Xander closed his eyes, voice cold. He did not bother to give the other man a glance. "Do you really want to eat or not?"

"I am, but,, don't you feel weird?" Chen Lei simply looked around. Since he stepped inside the village, he saw the discomfort and inexplicable fear in every villager's eyes. In every step they took when they walked towards their directions, they stepped aside immediately, as if they were afraid to run into them.

"I did feel weird. I feel weird everytime you're around." Xander pulled his elbow off and looked at him, eyes cold and voice was mocking. "Can't you tell?"

Chen Lei leaned in and smirked, "Miss Sanchez, don't provoke me first. I swear, you won't ever wish for me to lose control. But, I am really wondering," He paused, ran his eyes into Xander's flawless face, and held his chin. "Such a lovely face, why do these people look at you indifferently? I can't help but think you have been here and done something horrible to them."

"You are the horrible one! I am not like you." Xander snapped his finger's off. He admitted within himself that he was indeed not a good person before and even did something he shouldn't have done in the first place, but, there's no way he would admit that to that devil. "Such a far and remote place like London Village, how can a dignified and wealthy man like you come here? Could it be you are here for a business?"

"Hmmp, don't change the topic. I have no interest in talking about myself."

"Young master, why did you come here?" Arthur suddenly shouted from behind them. He was chasing after his breath as he focused his eyes on his master's cold face, worried filled his eyes.

"What's wrong with you?" Turning around and seeing his secretary's messy state, Chen Lei frowned as he asked.

"Young Master, I thought something happened to you because I heard a series of wailing earlier and I even ran into injured people. I thought a group of villains had a fight with you and so I was worried. Young Master, are you alright?" Arthur said continuously.

"Is that so?" Chen Lei's face darkened. The air of the surroundings became suffocatingly chill.

Arthur stood properly. He swallowed a lump as he noticed the sudden change of the man's expressions. He looked cold, but the intimidating gaze of his master was piercing to the deep of his bones. "Young master, you—"

"Arthur, you have been with me for so long. Do you think those people can beat me?"

"Of course,,,, not!" A stiff smile formed on Arthur's lips and he wiped the beads of sweat emerging on his forehead. "You are the strongest man I have ever known."

"What a moody person! Really never change." Arthur said to himself.

"Enough talking." Xander interjected. "It's still early but the weather is not good. Before the bad weather gets you stuck in this place. You better take your master out of this place right now."

"This is?" Arthur finally threw a glance to the other intimidating person standing behind his boss. When his eyes finally got the closer and clear look at the other person, his eyes lit up in surprise. "Aren't you the Manager Villaruel of Starmoon Entertainment? Why brought you here?"

"Stop wasting your time asking for senseless questions." Xander said. "Take your boss away in this place right now. The villagers can't accommodate wealthy people like you."

Chen Lei abruptly pulled Xander in his arms.

"What are you doing?" Xander struggled in the man's arms. "Let go of me! There's plenty of people around watching us, don't you feel ashamed? Two men hugging intimately, don't you feel disgusted?" Xander nodded. "That's right. A person like you, it's a miracle if you feel ashamed and feel disgusted when doing something like this. I shouldn't bother asking you these. Hell you, let go of me! I'm disgusted and ashamed of you!"

Chen Lei chuckled softly. Then, he slowly drew his face closer to Xander.

"What are you trying to do now? Let go of me!" Xander pushed the man away from him but Chen Lei was unbelievably strong. He could not make him budge even a little.

Chen Lei raised a brow arrogantly, lips pursed tightly and when it was opened again, a mocking smile was obvious on his lips. "Is this already intimate to you?"

"You are shameless! Disgusting!"

"Shameless? Disgusting?" Chen Lei broke into laughter. Only his voice filled the place. He raised his hand and held Xander's chin. Then whispered something in his ear. "Miss Sanchez, do you know how the real shameless person truly behaves? It's like this."

Without warning, Chen Lei abruptly pressed his lips on Xander's lips and moved them ferociously.

Arthur looked away, covering his eyes. Confused, he mumbled inwardly, "What is this man doing? How could he just kiss a man in front of so many people? Since when did he become as shameless as he is now? Did he really forget her and now fall for a man? Since when did it start? Even if Manager Villaruel is extraordinarily handsome, it was enough for a cold man like him to fall so easily. How is that possible? Unless,,, he knows this man or this man is not really a man."

Thinking that, Arthur immediately observed Xander. He frowned as he noticed nothing doubtful except from the reason why he was in such an uncivilized place.

Arthur didn't mean to stop them. But as a man, seeing two men kissing intensely, he felt so awkward and embarrassed with himself. He didn't mean to disturb them but he couldn't help but clear his throat.

Arthur cleared his throat many times, trying to make his presence visible to them. However, it only went in vain. Chen Lei turned a deaf ear to him.

Arthur smirked, laughing at himself. "That's right. Who is Chen Lei? He is the most cold and shameless person in this world. How could he care about other people's feelings and thoughts? I should just be the one to adjust in this situation."

Thinking that, Arthur turned around sighing. He then braced his hands and once more took a deep breath as he looked at the sky.

Shortly after that moment, Chen Lei broke free from their kiss. Both of them were chasing after their breaths.

Chen smirked, provocative, voice became sexy and hoarse. "How's the kiss? Are you feeling ashamed or disgusted?"

Xander wiped his lips furiously. As if he had kissed something terribly filthy. His face flushed red and contorted because of the complicated feelings he had— annoyed not only by the man but also towards himself, ashamed, and feeling humiliated. If it was before, such things never existed in his life. But this time was different. He decided to turn a new leaf. Of course, those feelings would cross his mind and heart. He was not a thick-face like the certain devil in front of him.

Gritting his teeth, Xander remarked. "So gross. People are still watching and yet you are— Hey, where's the people?"

Xander looked around to search for any villagers in the scene. Unexpectedly, their surroundings were unbelievably quiet and free with people. Even the shadows of the villagers were none to see.

The screams of pain and chaos earlier could no longer be found. What was left in the scene was blood of those injured gangsters and a chaotic ground. The doors and windows of every household were shut tightly. Even their lights from lamps were off.

The villagers behaved as if their place was invaded by bloodthirsty beats and they went into hiding.

The village suddenly became like an abandoned place.

Xander frowned. "They just left?"

Chen Lei walked to his side and threw him a sideways glance. He seemed dead serious but his voice was obviously teasing Xander. Slightly leaning on his side, he said, "Yeah, they just left. They left because you scared them. As for why you didn't know, hmm, it's because you're enjoying the kiss too much."

"Shameless!" Xander said coldly. Finally, he managed to calm down. "You still dare to say that. You really changed my impression of you."

"What kind of impression?"

"Not only cruel! You are also a sick p*****t and terribly shameless!" Xander glanced at Arthur who remained on his back facing them. "Mr. Jose, if I were you, you should take your boss away in this place. Not long later, the rain will surely fall. Don't blame me for not telling you."

Xander said and walked away.
