Chapter 53: Chen Bao, Come With Me

924 Words
In the Bluebird Garden. The entire house was quiet. In his room, the kid sat expressionlessly in front of his laptop. Eyes focused on the screen as he sat crossed legs on his bed like he was meditating. Little Love was watching Allen's press conference at the moment. Strangely, in fact, he was not entirely staring at his cousin but to the aloof and serious-looking young man next to them. He was no other than Xander Villaruel. The kid did not say anything since he was used to being expressionless and cold like his father. However, there's a slight frown on his adorable forehead—perhaps, because of some odd reason. From the start, the only person in his eyes was Xander Villaruel. Even blinking his eyes, it seldom happened even until the conference started and went on. When chaos suddenly occurred in the venue and Xander Villaruel's hand was injured, the kid's eyes flaring in rage. Like a volcano that abruptly erupted his lava. The kid suddenly rose up and stormed out of his room. By coincidence, he ran into his nanny, Kath Diaz, who was bringing a glass of milk for him. "Little Young Master, why did you leave your room? Your milk is ready. Do you need something else? I can get them for you. You don't have to come down to get them." Kath Diaz said continuously as she blocked the kid's way. The kid stared at him meaningfully. Killing intent was evident in his eyes. Seeing that, Kath Diaz felt a chill running down her spine. She had witnessed the kid when he was throwing tantrums. She had seen the kid how he looked when they had a silent argument or fight with his father countless times. She also had seen how the kid looked when he was forbidden to do things that he wanted. But, it was her first time seeing such a kind of hatred in eyes. It was purely hatred. No sign of pity or mercy. He really looked like wanting to end someone's pathetic life at that very moment. Who angered this kid at this level? Who had the guts? Or was he throwing a tantrum again? But why did he form such anger? Was it because of his father again? Why? Kath Diaz's hands trembled subconsciously, and because of that, the glass of milk almost spilled on the floor. It was only avoided because someone's hand suddenly held the glass of milk. Kath Diaz was not an i***t and a clueless woman. She has been in the house for almost five years and she was already familiar with the atmosphere of the room depending on what kind of mood the masters of the house had. The moment ago, the room was only shrouded with hatred and killing intent. This time, the temperature of the room also dropped to zero degrees. Coldness overtook the room. As if the universe was suddenly having a hailstorm. It was unnecessary for her to turn around or look over to know who was the owner of the hand. She was more than hundred percent sure that it was the King of the house. "Be careful. Don't be careless. Scared of the kid?" The cold voice said. His voice was even scarier than those creepy noises of monsters or beats in the wild during the night. "What about this time?" Kath Diaz stepped aside quickly. She lowered her head, hands shaking. "Young Master, I don't know what happened exactly. I just left Little Young Master in his room to fetch his milk in the kitchen. When I'm on my way to deliver his milk, I ran into him here. I don't know what's the problem. He already liked this when I saw him. As if he was trying to go out for a war." Looking devilishly handsome on his black polo underneath his black windbreaker, Chen Lei took a step and looked down at his son. The father and son stared at each other. "The weather is bad. It was about to rain. Are you sure you're going to leave the house just like that?" Chen Lei started to speak, voice deep and cold. "How are you going to go there alone?" The kid initially had hatred in his eyes only. However, upon hearing his father's words, he immediately understood something. His father knew the reason for his sudden rampage. He was only curious why his father understood him so well at the moment without inquiring or interrogating him further. He was also confused how his father knew the reason for his anger. Though his father didn't say things directly, as a genius kid, he could guess from his father's words the underlying meaning of those words. He looked at him, asking him to take him somewhere over. "Alright. I'm quite free this time. I'm going to accompany you there. But don't blame me if there's something else going to happen." Chen Lei turned his back to his son, about to walk first before his son. Then he suddenly looked over. "Oh right. I want you to understand one thing. Don't worry about other things. You're still young. Let me handle the dirty work. Did you get me?" The kid hesitantly nodded, hands balled on his sides. "Very well." He threw a sideways glance at the servant. "Take that milk away first. He doesn't need it anymore. Chen Bao, come with me." Led by his father, the kid took big strides to catch up to his father leaving the house.
