Chapter 85: My Dear Boss

"Where is Geneva?" Jasper asked. His chest heaved up and down uncomfortably. The reason was not only because of the pain and exhaustion from fighting against Chen Lei, who was far better than him in martial arts. The other reason was because of worry upon hearing the word kidnap. He was a policeman and such a thing was not new in his ears. However it sounded horrible at the moment, especially that the person involved or the victim of the k********g was the woman he adored for the first time.

"Where is she? Where is Geneva? Where did she go? Who took her?" Jasper sprinted over to Arthur and shook the latter's shoulders while he asked a series of questions one after another like crazy.

"Don't touch me." Arthur pulled the man's hands off him. "What are you doing? Want to shake my head until I lose my head? Hmmp, you guys deserve it. Why fight over something." Arthur looked at them indifferently for about three seconds and he snorted. "So you both still know how to care for her? I thought you just wanted to fight and best yourself to death."

"Arthur, I have no time to play with you." Chen Lei warned. "Speak."

Arthur snubbed. "You heard me right. But you guys don't have to worry. She is just being taken away."

"Who?" Chen Lei and Jasper asked at the same time. The voice of the two as well as their expressions were filled with worry and fear towards the safety of the woman.

Chen Lei and Jasper knew that the woman had some skills in fighting. However, she was just a woman. How could he deal with villains if it was real that she was being abducted?

Chen Lei wanted to confirm it. After all, Bluebird Garden was his place. Who wanted to offend him openly?

Arthur shrugged, pretending that he didn't care about the current situation at all. As if it has nothing to do with him, though, as a chief secretary, he had to call someone over for help. "I don't know. I didn't see his face clearly. But, he is also good-looking. But not as handsome as you. My boss."

Arthur grinned.

"Are you kidding me?" Chen Lei glared at him.

Arthur shrugged once more. "It's up to you if you believe me or not. Anyway, I am just telling the truth."

Chen Lei looked at him in disbelief. "What time is it now? You still have the mood to laugh?" Chen Lei braced his hands on his shoulders and frustratingly looked around. "Where is anyone? I want them to check on it. What if she is just fooling around. You know that woman so well. She is childish and pettish."

Arthur pouted. "Fine. It seems like you don't believe me. Then, you continue fighting. Just pretend I didn't say anything. But later, don't blame me if something bad really happened to her. After all, it's you who told me that she is just fooling around. Then go. Go on. Don't mind me. I am just saying nonsense."

Chen Lei gave Arthur a weird look. "You know that this is nonsense! This is Bluebird Garden. My house. Who is so capable to enter my house without being noticed? Does he want to die? Want to touch a person under my nose?"

"That is right. This is indeed Bluebird Garden. So I am sure that the one who takes her away is someone who is just inside." Arthur said indifferently. "Otherwise, he can't enter the house unscathed. I have no doubt about that. In my opinion. Miss Sanchez has outstanding beauty. Perhaps someone in the house is coveting her beauty. If you thought it was Allen, wanting to play a prank with you because you guys ruined his birthday, then, I swear, I am pretty sure that it was not Allen. I know that guy's figure so well. I can't be mistaken."

"If you are not worried, then I am." Jasper interrupted them. "I don't have time to talk with you. I'm going to look for her." Saying that, Jasper ran off.

Before Jasper went to look for Geneva, Chen Lei was already summoning his dark guards over. Though he did not look so worried, it was better to be extra careful than sorry.

"Anyone here! Is nobody here? Come over here!!!!" Chen Lei shouted angrily. His veins on his neck and temples were jutting out in rage. "Come over here right away or else I'll kill you all! Damn it!"

Hearing his roaring voice, which sounded cold but authoritative, those dark guards who were about to have their rest rushed to him one after another. The first one who arrived among those dark guards was Luther.

"Boss, what happened? Do you need something urgent?" Luther asked.

"It's more urgent." Arthur butt in right away before the Boss could respond. "It is a matter of life and death."

"Boss, what does Arthur mean?" Luther asked Chen Lei, a frown appeared on his forehead. "Did something happen?"

"Come on. Someone is being taken away. You go look for her." Arthur once again answered on behalf of Chen Lei.

"What did you say?" Luther's eyes ran back and forth between Arthur and Chen Lei. "Who is being taken away? Where did that happen?"

Chen Lei shut Arthur a cold glance. "Can you let me speak now, My dear Boss?"

Arthur nodded his head. His hand extended, acting as if he was the superior one than the man in front of him, who was his boss. "Go ahead."

Chen Lei swept his sight around those dark guards and then looked at Luther. "One of the guests is being taken away by a suspicious person just now. She is Geneva. She is an important person. Look for her everywhere. If it is necessary to turn every corner upside down, then do it! I want you to bring her back safely. The sooner the better. As for that intruder or that kidnapper who is not afraid of death, bring him to me alive. I want to deal with him personally. I want to make him feel that going against me is far worse than death. Do you hear me?"

"Yes." Luther nodded and asked everyone to go and look around. He gave instructions to them as well. "Everyone, go with me. Find Miss Geneva and that suspicious person around. Some of you, you go in the back garden. Some of you go to the south courtyard. Some of you to the west courtyard. I and Mike will go inside the house. And you three, go upstairs!" Luther clapped his hand. "Hurry up now!"

Like ants in the anthill being crushed, the dark guards scattered right away after receiving the instructions.

Meanwhile, Chen Lei suddenly remembered another person. He looked on that spot table where he sat earlier. But, his eyes were rounded wide when he found his own son not there anymore. "Arthur, where is Little Love?"

"Huh? Little Love? He is just… hey, where is he?" Arthur asked back at Chen Lei with a confused expression.

"I am clearly the one who asked you that." Chen Lei glared at him. "Where is he?"

Arthur stood hurriedly. And looked around worriedly. "He is clearly just sitting there silently. Why is he gone suddenly? I didn't notice him leaving. Geneva is so important to him and she was being taken away. Could it be he… he is looking for her too?"

Chen Lei tapped his forehead in frustration.

"Let's go look for them too!" Arthur did not wait for Chen Lei's response. He immediately sprinted off and looked for the kid and Geneva.
