The sweetest giggle wakes me, but she’s not in bed.
“He’s the best s*x I’ve ever had, and, like… consistently. But he’s kind and caring. He made me breakfast after the first night.” I mean, I wasn’t thrilled she wasn’t in bed with me, but I’m not upset to wake up to hear her say that—best s*x she’s had. I smile at the thought.
“So you’ve finally found someone who will take care of you,” I hear an unknown voice say. Her roommate must be home. “You’ve deserved that the entire time. You’re just too afraid to get close to anyone.”
My poor girl. Is that why she’s so cagey? Is she afraid to let me get close? I was excited to be the best s*x of her life, but I overlooked where she was still excited I’d made her breakfast. I need to take care of her- all the time.
