Chapter 29 Elena's POV: The necklace hadn't been broken, it had been broken open. The clear stone that I thought was decorative fell open, revealing a photograph the size of a fingernail. She looked so much like me, but she smiled even more brightly and beautifully than my occasional silence, making it impossible to look away. There was another person standing beside her, a very handsome man, and they were standing together in an intimate gesture, the man's hand on her shoulder, and the two stood together, looking very well matched.
