Zero stared at the doors leading into the grand Hotel on the outskirts of Caldwell. The Westminister Bay Hotel would be the venue for today's Hunter's Association meeting, mainly due to the fact that it was on neutral ground- an area where all Supernatural factions could interact. Ramone had made sure of this by using his influence over the members to make it so.
They believe that he's being extra cautious whereas we know why we did it...so as to allow our newfound friend and ally to join us...
Zero mused, thinking back on the meeting with the Queen of Vampires who had been stuck on his mind for the remainder of his Father's memorial service as well as his night. His godfather had been angry once they returned to the manor and demanded an explanation that was met with a simple shrug from the three of them and the excuse of going on a drive.
Although he hadn't pushed for more details, the three men could tell that he did not believe them and Ramone had been adamant that they all be extra careful moving forward for there was a possibility that they would be followed.
Why would he go to such lengths to keep me from her? Could there be more here than meets the eye?
Zero could tell that there were secrets and mystery surrounding the Queen of Vampires. She was keeping something from him- he could somewhat sense it and yet he could not stop himself from being enamored. He knew he should heed the warning Ramone gave him- that he should be careful around her but he could not stop himself from wanting to be closer to her.
"I confirmed the surroundings. We weren't followed. They probably followed Mason to the airport but there could be someone around. We should go in before they stop us."
Ramone interrupted his thoughts, returning him to the present and the matter at hand. His Uncle believed that he would be leaving for New York today- as he had insisted he should before he left the night before. Ramone mentioning the scheduled Hunter's meeting and how it coincided with their 'departure' made each of the men more suspicious than ever of the man.
I really hope we're wrong, Uncle...That you are not involved in any way with this...
"Has Mason made it to the airport?"
The third musketeer of the group had volunteered himself as the decoy to keep any watchful eyes away from their true plan- to crash the Hunter's Meeting and make the declaration of his acceptance of his birthright.
"Yeah, he did. He seems to have found a way to distract them. Somehow, he is better at this I anticipated honestly."
Both men chuckled at that as they exited their car and prepared to proceed into the Hotel. Zero was innately grateful for Mason's participation in their plan. All these new changes were foreign to both of them and the lives they led before and yet his dedication to ensuring that all their plans came to pass warmed his heart all the more.
What would I do without my best friend...
"Are you ready?"
Ramone inquired as they stood at the threshold of the Hotel entrance, earning a nod from Zero after he took a deep, calming breath. Although he knew that he should be anxious about the meeting, he was more so anxious about meeting with Reina once more. She seemed to make him very self conscious and also calm- conflicting emotions that still seemed to meld perfectly whenever he was with her...
Today will mark the beginning of our collaboration to find our common enemy and destroy them...It could mean the beginning of more between us too... Only time will tell...

Reina went through the double doors of the hotel once William opened them for her. She could feel purpose and resolve fill her entire being. Her plan was beginning to formulate, meld into something more substantial with the aim of the destruction of the enemy that dared to touch her brother and kill her people.
I may not be the best of monarchs but I would fight to the death for the people that those who came before me have sacrificed their lives for...
Even if it meant walking into the Lion's Den- literally. None of the men and women she could already sense within the Hotel scared her one bit. On the contrary, she knew she could easily face off with them and prevail. Her power was vast and only a handful of people knew the full extent of it. They were the only ones wise enough to stay away from her and her Kind.
The current Hunter's Association has not been as smart. Their decision today may have been catastrophic were it not for Zero Black. He saved their lives and the lives of their people- and they probably could never comprehend how close they came to death and destruction.
Although a war between them would mean that their true enemy would be able to probably get what they want- whatever it was- Reina had been ready to sacrifice that to ensure that the Hunters Never m******e her people ever again.
The Balance of this world has been incredibly tipped, though...I can sense the distortion as does every person within the Supernatural world...
The balance needs to be restored. And she would find a way fix it all through this meeting and the plans to come.
She entered the elevator, pressing the third floor button where she knew the rest were. Mortals were also present within these very walls- dining without a thought or inkling as to the powerful individuals who had gathered to discuss the fate of their world. She could clearly sense the other's powers very strongly with Maya's energy calling out to her right before she spotted her.
Saber Leviathan stood beside her, his silver hair and green eyes alive with emotion at the sight of her. Reina could not help but smile as he pulled her in a for a warm hug, one she welcomed despite her aversion to physical contact. She was not a big hug fan but after a century of absence, she understood the urge to greet each other with such emotion.
"Welcome home, child. It has been too long since you last graced this world with your radiance but I am happy and glad to see you back."
Saber commented, holding her at arm's length as he admired how much she had grown. He had seen her, watched her grow into the strong woman she now was. He had been present for most of her life after being friends with her parents for centuries before. He was a close family friend and rightfully placed as second in line to the throne. His acceptance of her meant more than anything and she basked in his attention.
"Thank you, Uncle. For your kind words and for agreeing to come today. I know we woke you from stasis but we are facing a threat that is unprecendented to us. We thought you might have insight and a way to assist."
Reina commented, earning a firm nod from the older man and determined and knowing expression. She knew that Maya had already clued him in on what was going on. It was the only way to bring him back and true enough, as Maya had said, the man had returned and was seemingly ready as ever to face the threat ahead.
"You can count on me, Little Rei. I am more than prepared to grant you any support or assistance you may need. For now, let us focus on the task ahead. You said that we shall be endorsing the new Head of the Black Bloodline?"
He seemed stunned by this and she could not blame him. It was rare to receive such a request from her. She hated that family with a vengeance and yet she was ready to ensure Zero;s ascension. It was all probably too confusing.
"I had the same thoughts exactly, brother. It is hard to reconcile this new Reina with the old...I am a bit offended, though, that you did not see it fit to consult me on the possible threat ahead. I did, after all, take part in that battle as did your parents and Saber."
Zorin Demonaire's voice broke the conversation as each of them turned to watch him approach with one of his Servants' following closely behind. Maya rolled her eyes at the sight of him and at his words. He knew well enough why they did not reach out. The man was not only impossible to track down but also a true psychopath. Not many found his company appealing, let alone his insights.
He also has eyes and ears everywhere, its truly unnerving...
"It must have slipped my mind. Though it seems you have already found your way here so I guess no harm, no foul."
Reina commented, earning a chuckle from the man before he gestured at the double doors that would lead into the Hunter's meeting.
"We should go. They seem to be waiting for us. We can discuss anything else futher when the walls do not have ears."
His comment, though delivered in his usual dark tone, was true indeed. The Supernatural world had many whose influence and power transcended the confines of this plane.
"Stay alert and Keep watch... There's something about this place that doesn't sit well with me...''
Reina drifted off sentence as William nodded. She knew there was no need to expound more. His perceptiveness had never faltered once and she was not about to question it.
With a nod to William as she ordered each of the Servants to stand guard outside, the four of them proceeded into the conference room where the Hunters were, indeed, waiting.
Alright then, let's do this...
