"Ugh, today was exhausting", Layla sighed as we got home.
"This evening's class was good", Jaxon stated.
"Yeah it was", I agreed.
"Well I had a bad class because our professor told us to read the first five chapters for Wednesday's class", she groaned.
"Yikes."
"Exactly and it doesn't help that I have evening shift work tomorrow", she added.
"Better get started then", Jaxon chuckled and she glared at him.
"Well we already through the first two chapters so I'll go read from chapter 3 to 5 when I done have a snack", she went up the stairs.
"What assignment do you have for history?" Jaxon turned to me.
"None, I know the book like the back of my hands", I shrugged.
"Do you want to go check out the library now?" He suggested and I nodded.
We entered the spacious library, it was nice
