Humans have many miss conceptions of the supernatural world. Some they have gotten right, and some they have exaggerated. For one, yes, vampires do not do well with the sunlight. However, it hasn’t always been that way. It was a curse cast onto us, vampires, years ago after my father and king of the vampires pissed off a very powerful witch. Ever since then, we have stayed in the shadows. Not because we will burst into flames if we come in contact with the sun. But because the sun's rays are very uncomfortable to us vampires, burning our skin in ways that leave us in agonizing pain for weeks.
