Alan POV
She woke up and looked at me.Her eyes were blood red,she wanted to get up but couldn’t.I rushed to her and hugged her.She was crying and sobbing in my arms.Her body was so hot,she had fever.I called a doctor immediately and she arrived after half an hour.
“I checked her,she is fine.It’s just the period sickness nothing much serious.I have prescribed some medicines.She has to take them after eating something”,she said as she handed me the prescription and left.
“Stacey,I”,I wanted to ask her about her real identity but she was extremely sick.She looked at me with innocence filled eyes.I looked into her eyes and kissed them gently.Tears ran through her eyes as I could feel them on my lips.I looked at her.Her lips were puffy and red.She looked so beautiful even in such illness.She was looking a little better than before.
I ordered a maid to bring her some dinner and ordered them to bring the meds for her.The dinner arrived and I saw Stacey asleep on my lap.When did she sleep? I didn’t even realise.
“Stacey”,I said slowly
“Get up,you have to have your dinner”,I said as she opened her eyes and looked at me.
“I am not-I don’t want to eat.”,She insisted.
“Stacey please you have to take your medicines.”I said impatiently.
“Please,please”,She said as she pleaded.My heart was melted by her innocence.I couldn’t bear seeing her in pain.It felt like someone was stabbing my heart.
“Stacey you have to understand I know you are in pain,that’s why you have to eat.Once you eat,your pain will be gone”,I said to Stacey controlling my anger.
Stacey POV
I looked at him as I saw him losing his cool.He tried to control his anger.I got up and finished all the food obediently.He was staring at me with a dominant look.However,after finishing the food my pain was normal and slowly it was going away.He was right,I was being adamant.I took my medicines and looked back at him.
“Why are you staring?” I asked him,dumbly,
Alan did not say anything but just looked at me for a few seconds with a frown on his forehead.
“Anastasia...”,He said to me in a very deep voice.
Anastasia?ANASTASIA?That was my real name.It was my hidden identity.Oh god,how does he know about this!My heart started beating so fast,it almost felt like he is going to kill me.
“Anastasia Ruby Williams,isn’t that your name?”He asked.
“I-I am sorry I-“I tried to say but couldn’t speak.
“Speak to me,yes or no?”He said aggressively
“Yes,”,I said.There was no point of lying to him.I was so idiotic,how could I think to fool him.He was the most powerful man in the country.Even if he wanted he can rule the world.This was my fault.I have been stupid from the beginning.Alan Black,John Black’s brother.When Alan took me under his wings I thought lord was giving me a chance to kill my enemy.I thought staying with Alan will make it easier to kill John Black.Now that I am under Alan’s control,there is nowhere for me to run.Even if I go to hell,only he can bring me back to him.
“Stacey.”,He said as his voice faded away in the cold,dark environment.
“I don’t want to hurt you,”,She said to me.
Alan POV
“You want to kill my brother.Isn’t that equivalent to hurting me?” I asked an absurd question.Even if John was killed in front of my eyes,I wouldn’t bother to look at him.
“He killed my whole family.What would you do if someone killed yours?”,She asked me with sorrow and deep grief in her heart.
I leaned closer to her ear and said,“And If I say don’t kill him,would you listen to me?”I could feel the hair on her skin rise as my hot breathe ran across her neck.
She closed her eyes and held her hands tightly trying to control herself.She can’t protect herself from me.Young and innocent little kitten,she was conspiring to kill such a notorious gangster.
I will remove all the thoughts from her mind.I have to make her believe that I will help her get revenge.
