20."I love you too"

Alan POV
Another month passed by very quickly,it was the 24th of may.
''How are the music classes going?" I asked her.
"Just fine." She replied,not wanting to continue the conversation.
"Have you made any friends there?" I asked her again to get a few words out of her mouth.
''Yes,there's this little girl,she comes to me everyday and says the same thing,that I am very beautiful.sometimes,it gets a bit suspicious but I guess I am overthinking."
"Hmm." I trailed off.
"Even she has a cell phone but you don't let me use one." She argued
I looked at her and remained silent.She immediately looked down.
Stacey POV
He looked at me with those eyes full of darkness,but now it felt like he was going to murder me with those killer-eyes.I got afraid and I looked down to avoid eye contact with him.
It was the weekends,we were both in his bedroom and he was resting on the bed while I was sitting beside him.One of my leg was on the bed while the other one was on the ground.I clenched my fists in fear.All of a sudden he put his broad hand on my thigh.I did not dare to look at him.
"Stace," He called out in a sleepy voice,which melted my heart.It felt like he was the most innocent person on earth.I must not be melted by him.He is the most dangerous and powerful man in the underworld and the most successful business man of Arizona,Colorado,Utah,New Mexico and many more but if he wanted to harm or hurt me,he would've done it long ago.
"I love you.'' He said slowly and with the lowest tone possible.
The hair on my skin stood straight and my heart was beating so fast that it felt like I might have a stroke any moment.I looked at him slowly as he put his head on thigh and closed his eyes.
I cried a that moment because this was the feeling I could not understand,it was the emotion that I felt for him too.At that moment,the only thing I knew was I would do anything for him and I would sacrifice everything to love him one more day.
I looked at the clock and it was 12 am exactly.
"Happy Birthday Stacey." He said as he got up and kissed me without thinking.he wiped my tears and smiled.
"Come." He said as he held my hand and we walked towards the living room.I expected that it would be the same thing like last year.
All the lights were off and we walked towards the dark hall.As the lights were switched on,I saw so many people wishing me happy birthday all together.Tears ran down my eyes because what Alan has done for me,I can never ever pay him back.
They were my friends from high school.I talked with every one of them and Alan excused us.All of us had a really fun night together and we partied till the dawn.
When the sun rose,everyone headed back to their homes and I went to Alan's room to thank him.Just as I was about to enter his room,I heard him talking to someone on the phone.
"What?"
"No way I am coming today,It's Stacey's birthday.''
"He did what?"
"Okay I am coming,make the arrangements!''
Alan POV
I opened the door to check on Stacey but she was already standing at my door.
"Stacey,go to sleep for now,I will go to the office.I will come back as soon as possible."
I felt her getting sad so I hugged her and said,
"I will be there when you wake up.''
She stood on her toes and kissed me on the lips.I kissed her back holding her necks and stroking her hair.
"I'll be waiting." She said as she surrendered herself in my arms.
