Stacey POV
"Since you guys are having a moment,I think it's the best for me to leave." James said as he winked.
"Can you not stay quiet for at least 5 minutes." Alan replied.
"You know what? Stay with him.I need to go home and bring our clothes." I said.
"Why you wanna-'' James was speaking but Alan cut him off.
"No Stace,you can't go.I can't risk it."
"I am gonna be fine.Why do you worry so much? You should sleep." I replied.
"No." He said.
I looked at him silently.
"Why are you so desperate Stacey?'' He asked as he frowned.
"You almost killed yourself trying to save me.You are the only person I have at this point.If you ever pull that stunt again.I swear on you,I will leave." He didn't say anything to me.He turned to James and said,"Call the Apex."
"Alan,you sure you?" James was flustered.I was confused too.What is Apex?James did as Alan said.
"Stacey,some men will be there to guard you,stay close to them."
In no time,4 men arrived and they were instructed to guard me.I went to the car with them.It was a limo.
Two men said in the back,two in the front and one was the driver.I was in the middle.It very very uncomfortable but they are Alan's men after all.They all were around the age of 27-28.Pretty young.
"Hey um,you guys really work for Alan?" I asked that.They all were pretty good-looking,not gonna lie.
"Yes,my lady." A man responded.
''Are you the Apex?What does it mean?" I asked him.
"We are called the Apex because Master Alan has a rank for his men."
"And Apex is?" I asked.
"We are the best of the best.Chosen by Master Alan,personally and professionally.''
''Why did he ask you to come with me?" I asked.
"We are called on rare occasions.Only when the case is very serious or when it's about death or even war with other powerful men.You must be very close to Master Alan.He cares for you very much or else he would never call us."
"I see and what are the other ranks?'' I asked.
"We are called Apex as we are ranked A.B is Blitz,C is Cascade,D is Doomsday,E is Electricitus."
"That's some badass names though." I laughed.
We reached the house.I immediately got out and they guarded me.I asked for a bag to the maids and so they gave me a pretty large one.Perfect enough to fit Alan's clothes as well as mine.
I took a t-shirts and trousers.I mean he wouldn't wear his shirt and pants in a hospital right?
I took few of my clothes,packed two toothbrushes and all necessary things.I went back to the hospital and saw James was not there.Alan was there sleeping peacefully.
I kept the bag on the guest bed and sat beside Alan.I also fell asleep beside him.
''Ta-da!" James screamed as he entered the room.Alan and I were both awoken by his voice.
''God!" I whispered.
''I am sorry dangerous people.I didn't know you were sleeping.Anyways,I got you guys some home made food."
"Who made it?" I asked suspiciously.
"It's not poisoned if that's what you're thinking."
"I didn't ask that."
"My girlfriend made it.'' He said like he was very proud.
"Your girlfriend?" Alan laughed.I looked at him.It wasn't very usual to see him laugh or smile like this.He looked so innocent when he laughed.
"It's just his maid Stacey.Don't worry." He said as he continued laughing.
''Okay folks.I'll take my leave.You guys take care.I'll see you tomorrow." He said as he left.
"Do you want to eat now?" I asked Alan.
"I am not hungry." He said.
"You have to eat anyways." I said as I sanitized my hands and too the food.It was some pasta.I brought the spoon in front of his mouth.He just stared at me.
"Eat." I said.
"Why can't you love me?" He asked.
"Please." I said as I looked down.
''Please eat." I said and he did.
After finishing the food,I cleaned his mouth and washed the box so it won't be smelly.Alan was watching something on the TV when I called him,"Alan."
He looked as me as he lifted his eyebrows."You need to change your clothes." He looked at me surprisingly as I opened the T-shirt he was wearing and made him wear a new one.I gave him his trousers and said,"I will be outside,change your pants."
I went outside and waited.He called from the inside and I went and sat beside him.
"Lay down.You need to rest." He nodded his head as I turned off the lights.I massaged his forehead when he spoke," I can't sleep."
"It's okay,I'm here.Talk with me.'' I said.
''You are all I have Stacey.Please don't leave me too."
''I am not going anywhere.I will never go anywhere."
"What if I do something to you?" He asked.In the darkness,I could not see him but I could understand that he was looking at me with those deep,lost eyes.
''You won't." I said.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked.It's the first time he asked permission before kissing me.
"Alan,I--" Without letting me complete,he pulled me into a warm kiss.I tried to pull away from him but he was too strong.
"You are only mine." He exclaimed.
I didn't respond to him.I was scared.I realised the mistake I did when I said I loved him.He loved me genuinely.So,there is no escape for me now.
I put him into a sleep and sat on the guest bed.I wired my headphones and turned on a music.It was one of my favorite.'Break My Heart' by Dua Lipa.
"I should've stayed at home,

I knew it was the end of it all.

Alan POV
I woke up by the sunlight reflecting on my face.I saw Stacey was sleeping on the guest bed.I stared at her.She was like a doll,young and innocent.
Her beauty made me want to devour her right here and right now.
"GOOD MORNING!" James entered the room.Stacey was awoken by his voice which made me angry on James.
"Can you not speak any lower,b***h?'' I told him.
"I am extremely sorry Alan." He said and winked.
"Sleeping beauty huh?" He turned to Stacey.
"Good Morning,Alan." Stacey said as she placed a kiss on my cheek and sat beside me.
"Couldn't sleep?" I asked her.
''I am just worried about you.Your wounds are still raw and you always turn to your side while sleeping." She said.
I was amazed by her.She may say that she doesn't love me but she sure as hell knows how to express it.
James gave the food to Stacey and she prepared the table on my bed.
"Have you had your brunch?" Stacey asked James.
"Yes I did,tasty and healthy made by my--" James was saying.
"Your girlfriend,right." Stacey said ignorantly as she fed me some pancakes.
"It really looks like Alan is a baby." James laughed as Stacey and I both lifted our eyebrows and looked at him.
''You guys scare me a lot." He said as he acted like being scare''Hey little beauty." James called Stacey.
"I have a name." She said as she faked a smile.
"Miss.Stacey."
"Yes?" She said.
''Why are you so proudy?" James asked.
"James! Behave." I said to him.
''I am sorry Mister James if I offended you." Stacey said.I know why she was behaving like this today.It was from our moment last night.
"It's okay Stacey.You are his woman after all.I expect you to behave like him." James joked.
Stacey went to the washroom to take a shower.
"Did you guys get into an arguement?" James asked me.
"I kissed her last night,she is upset for that reason." I replied.
"She loves you,Alan.She may not know how to accept her feeling for you but soon she will beg for your love.'' James said as he patted my shoulder.
"Or I will make her beg for my love."
