18.His care for me

Stacey POV

Everything was quite well except Alan's mood.It seemed like something was bothering him.He wouldn't talk that much in fact he would barely talk.He would wake up and we would quietly have breakfast,he would leave for work and then come back at around 5 pm and sometimes even 6.

Well,I have been attending the music academy for a while now and the teacher said I have a voice like ice and very sweet.I am not very social so I didn't talk to any other girls.However,one day a little girl came to me and told me,"Hi,you are very beautiful" I blushed and said she was very sweet too.She was 12 years maybe and she gave me her contact number.It was a surprise seeing such a young girl having her own cell number and cell phone because Alan didn't allow me to have a cell.

That day,after I came home from doing the musics,I fell into a deep sleep.I woke up at 7 pm and rushed downstairs to see whether Alan came home or not.I went out of my room with high expectations which died down in no time when I saw the empty couch.I felt a sharp pain in my heart.Emily and a few other maids rushed to me,

"Miss,do you want to eat something?Sir Alan called to check on you he wanted us to make sure that you are eating your food properly.''

"When did he call?" I asked her.

''A few minutes before 6'' 

Alan POV

I had to deal with lots of business today.The whole day was a mess.I had a meeting with John and he was 2 hours late.I was supposed to go home.I was very worried about Stacey because she waits for me everyday so I called emily to make sure she was okay.

"Well hello brother!" John entered the room.

"Why send people to betray us?You know no matter how hard you try I will always win John."

He chuckled and said nothing.

"John,if you betray my business one more time,I will destroy your entire living!"

He was smiling like a bastard.

After that I came home because the only thing I wanted to do was to see Stacey.

I entered as I saw her speaking to Emily.

"Stacey!"I said.

She turned at me and then looked down at the floor.She doesn't dare to make eye contact with me.

She fears me.

"Stacey,have you had anything?'' I said as I hugged her.Emily left the room in no time.Her body relaxed in the stiffness of my muscles and she closed her eyes.

"Are you okay?" She asked me.

"Stacey,I am fine and what is up with you?" I asked her with a frown on my forehead.

She nodded her head.

"Sit on the table and wait for me I am coming within 15 minutes." I said as I left for shower.

Stacey POV

I sat on the table waiting for some food and Alan.After some time,Alan came and sat right next to me.

"What's up?"He asked me casually.I looked at him with my head resting on the table.He caressed my cheeks and slowly his fingers reached my neck.I closed my eyes in fear.I felt him come closer to my face.He left a gentle kiss on my cheek.

I opened my eyes as the maids brought the food to the table and we both ate them silently.
