Stacey POV
We stopped by a shopping mall.It was a five star mall.I was amazed.Alan held me and walked towards the mall.”What do you want to take?” He asked as if he owned the place.
“I—-no—“I hesitated
“Say it”
“Nothing” The only word that came out of my mouth,
The frown in his forehead was now plain.He looked at me with full of unknown intentions.He held me and we went to the grocery section.He read my mind,again.
I looked down at a packet of chips,it was something I always wanted to take but it was so expensive.In fact not only this,but so many other things I desired but couldn’t afford.I looked at the price of the chips and then I put it in the shelves because I couldn’t buy something so expensive.
I was lost in my thoughts until a voice broke into my imagination world.
“Take it” He said without any hesitation
“Take anything you want” He again said,and confidently.
I looked at him with fear and confusion.”No,I’ll take something else”
He,then took 10 bags of chips and put it in the trolly!
Oh my goodness!
However this continued with almost everything that was costly but the best thing is that I got everything.
When we came out of the store his body guards took our bags and walked away.
We then went to shopping.He brought me so many fancy dresses,make up,accessories.
After that we went to eat.
When we entered his car,he was looking at the window and smoking.
“Thank you” I said
He looked at me with dissatisfaction and disappointment.
But then he smiled at me.His smile,it was so beautiful,he looked so handsome while smiling.It was irresistible.
Then why doesn’t he smile all the time,It makes him look like an angel that’s why.
Alan POV
We reached our home and as we got inside I saw the real devil sitting there,on my couch.John Black.
I pulled Stacey behind my back and she held me tight.
“Oh my dear little Alan,who’s that pretty girl behind you?Since when did you start f*****g w****s?”
“What are you doing here?” I asked him as calm as I could for the sake of Stacey.I didn’t want her to see the other side of me,or maybe she should.
“Come on Al,who’s the pretty lady?”he asked
“I asked what are you doing here?” I asked him again.Seeing me getting furious,he enjoyed it more.
He came closer to me and was about to touch Stacey I slapped him so hard that he fell on the ground.
“Oh no! What did you do!” Stacey cried.
I called my maids to take Stacey to her room and they did so.
“I see this girl is having quite an impact on you,dearie brother.” He taunted me.
“Get out or this will be your last day and don’t worry,I am coming for you for what you did to the Williams 6 years ago!” I shouted.
“Williams? Oh wait.Oh no Al that’s lame.Lets fight over something else like,how about the pretty woman you’ve got there,when you slapped I guess she didn’t like it.”He again taunted me.
“You daren’t lay an eye on Stacey,If you even look at her you don’t know,I will pull out your both eyes with my fingers you b***h!”
“Alan,you’ve grown so much,but have always been a disrepectful towards everyone else,Eh?"
“You are not my brother,you don’t know who the devil is John Black!”
“This is not over my brother,I will come for you”
Thank god John didn’t recognise Stacey.
I looked back just to see Stacey looking at me from the upstairs.I ran to her and hugged her.She was crying.
“It’s fine Stacey,I am here now, everything is fine” I said as I rubbed her back
I took her to her room and kept the snacks she bought today.She will not know the cruelty of the outside world.This will be her world.
“Why are you so dangerous?Why is everyone afraid of you?” Stacey asked me with tears in her eyes.
I said nothing,just hugged her.
I didn’t have the answer to her question.For the first time in my life someone left me speechless.
I looked at her eyes and she looked back at me with tears filled eyes.
“Stacey,He, how can I say it to you.He is the person who killed your family.”
“Whaa—“ She cried as she jumped on to my chest and hugged me.
“ I am sorry” She wouldn’t stop crying.I didn’t stop her either.I just buried my head on her neck and let her cry all she wants.
