16 Barely able to contain her anger, Ivy strode across the car court. A couple of guests were lounging by the pool, so with the windows in the kitchen open, they’d heard everything. Cringing inside, she crossed the car court, desperate to get away from everyone. Just when Ivy thought the week was going well, her daughter had to pull this trick. Footsteps sounded behind her.
