Darius’s pov I came back late on purpose, but she was still awake. I noticed that she hardly slept. I hear her opening pages of a book in the middle of the night. “Good night,” she said with her usual gentle smile. “You must be over the moon because of the stunt you pulled today,” I said, and she turned to look at me. “What stunt?” she asked, and I scoffed at this. “When you pushed me and Ross,” I answered, and she just shrugged. She humiliated me and yet acts like it’s not a big deal. “You can push me if it will make you feel better,” she said, and her eyes landed on my hands. “It would be better than hurting yourself.
