I pulled away when my phone started ringing.
I looked at Alpha Darius and he was also just as confused as I was.
What is happening here?
I looked at my phone and almost kicked myself when I saw James’s name on the caller ID.
I have been so wrapped up in my world that I completely forgot about it.
“James hello,” I said and looked at Alpha Darius who turned around and left my office.
“Oh yes I can meet you now, is everything okay?” I asked him but he didn’t answer.
I then ran out to meet him, I went to the spot he told me to meet him.
“Is everything okay?” I asked him and he gestured that I sit on a bench.
I sat down and he joined me before sighing.
It was as if he couldn’t find the right words to say.
“Just blurt it out,” I said trying my best not to smile.
