Tamara’s pov
I opened my eyes and looked around the room.
“You are awake,” Stanley said and smiled.
I felt something in my hand.
I took a look at it, and it was the necklace.
It was covered in blood.
“Where we were washing you with the nurse. You didn’t want to let it go,” Jennifer said with a smile.
“Whoever gave it to you must be very special,” she said with a wink.
“What happened?
How is Rowan?” I asked them and got up.
My head is heavy, and my body feels like it’s been hit by three trucks.
“He is okay, you stopped the bleeding at the right time,” Stanley said.
I watched as both their faces started to sadden a bit and I looked at them.
“What happened? What’s with the faces?” I asked and Stanley put down a file on the bed.
I had a look at it and inside were photos.
