Giles wakes me from a drunken nap I took on the carriage ride to the lab site.
"Get the bags." I groggily tell him.
I hate being woken up, but I realize very quickly that we have arrived at our destination, so I let it slide. I'm ready to get things rolling. The destruction of the world as we know it doesn't happen overnight. It takes a lot of moves to get this going really. It's like a game of chess. We're not playing checkers here boys.
After Giles helps me get settled into my cottage, we meet up with the scientist, Simon Bellamy, at his makeshift lab.
