Things had been absolutely perfect. Time was moving along and things were progressing nicely. Jordan and I had moved into the East wing with Blaine.
Jordan proposed to me a month after the Beta ceremony. We have been completing our training for the Beta position. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. Prince Blaine has become our closest of friends.
Our newest problem was that King Zerxsys was getting upset with Prince Blaine about him not having found his mate. Blaine is 28 and it is very unusual for us to not have found our mate by then. His biggest concern was that Blaine didn’t have an heir yet. His father is very accustomed to the old beliefs; therefore, what Blaine is doing is taboo.
