Ning Meixiu has plans that might upset her husband; the half-demon emperor; Luo Qingling. The man who merged the three realms together, wiping out most of humanity as cultivators can’t keep up with demon attacks and raids. It was Luo Qingling who made Ning Meixiu realise there’s a reason that half-demons don’t usually live past the cradle and she has plans to make sure that Luo Qingling is no longer an expection to the rule.

He had tortured her bà ba and lied to her face long enough.

Prologue
Ning Meixiu regretted taking her three bows with that lying and traitorous, beast of an emperor, the First Emperor of the Three Realms... Luo Qingling. And to Ning Meixiu, he would be the last Emperor. She was sure of that fact, since it seemed that demons and humans couldn’t live together, not with the way small human villages had started to be wiped out. No one cared about them. No, she thought, she cared about them. She thought that Luo Qingling would have cared about them, but he hadn’t. Ning Meixiu trusted him for years. Pacing around her room looking over her tailsman. Biting her lower lip, making sure everything would be put in the correct place. Ning Meixiu had trusted him, but he had lied to her for all those years, but now the silk had been pulled from her eyes and she knew the truth. If only she stood with her bà ba, her father, knew something was off about everything Luo Qingling told her about him. Luo Qingling never spoke to her bà ba about the fake manuel he had been given, hadn’t said anything about the bullying... he was punishing her bà ba for the fact that he couldn’t teach and his job as the sect’s strategist, while keeping an eye on everything that was happening on his peak. There was a reason there was meant to be more hallmaster than there were. She didn’t even want to think about that hoax of a trail, headed by a man that would believe only the worse of her bà ba. No one had listened to her, on one listened to her Shi mei’s and Shi jie’s. He hadn’t sexually abused her, bà ba just trusted his female disciples more than the male ones. Didn’t trust males to the pooint that he could only sleep at the brothel with Ning Meixiu’s gū gus; it was the reason he told her never to call him bà ba in public. Why he couldn’t call her nǚ ér. He didn’t want anyone to treat her poorly just because she was connected to him, or that she was the daughter of a p********e. Bà ba had been the one who had taken her in after mǔ qīn died during her birth. Nodding to herself, she put the tailsman on the ground in a circle and the last one in the middle, to be in front of her when she knelt down in the center. Kneeling, she made slight cuts on her arm, making her mind slightly hazy as blood dripped onto the floor. She didn’t know how far back the tailsman would take her, but she was going to save her Bà ba. That was the end of that. Ning Meixiu knew that she wouldn’t be his nǚ ér anymore, wouldn’t have the close realtionship she once had with him. But he would be alive and that was all that mattered to her. She just have to remind herself of that on the hard days. The sliding doors of her room opened. Her tailsman would stop him from getting close to her. “Ning Meixiu, third wife, what are you doing? What are you planning?” Luo Qingling demanded. Ning Meixiu grinned, slamming her hands on the tailsman in front of her, her blood glowing. She wasn’t going to take him back with her. He would only torture her Bà ba again. She closed her eyes and felt her body land on the ground, but she didn’t land on her bedroom floor. Instead she landed on the grass, pushing herself up she spotted two people quickly walking towards her. A woman with black eyes and a young boy with jade green eyes. She knew her, of course; Ning Meixiu knew of Jiang Mingzhao and her Bà ba; Li Yuanjun. “Jiang Mingzhao, Li Yuanjun,” Ning Meixiu whispered bowing her head, “the sect is going to be in danger and everyone will die.” “I’ll call Yue Mingya to Qing Jing Peak and we will discuss this further,” Jiang Mingzhao said. Ning Meixiu nodded. “Of course, Peak Lady Jiang,” she said nodding, Li Yuan... no, he would still be Li Shi, “all I ask is that... I shall tell you once we’re with the Sect Leader.”
