Chapter 16. Revelations. As the bus pulled up outside the open-air Arniston Centre, in the small area named Pity Me, just outside of Durham City Centre. Ruth stood up, and walked to the front, ready to get off. Tomorrow was her last day at the Bowman group, and the thought filled her with a sadness she did not quite expect to feel when she had begun her work there, three and a half weeks earlier. She had made a friend, Diana, and for all they were chalk and cheese, Ruth would miss her. Then there was David. They had shared so much over the last three days, that she also felt he was a friend.
