Devon could not help the smile that adorned his face, as he walked into the care home. He had arrived back in the UK at 4 am, and unable to sleep, he had made his way to visit his mother at 9 am. He did not know what would await him, but he could not help the happiness he felt at being able to visit his mother every few days. As he walked through the door, he was greeted by the biggest, brightest smile and his mother's face.
“Hey, it is the new nurse. Come sit next to me, handsome”. She waved and slightly flirted with him.
Devon chuckled, it should have made him feel slightly uncomfortable, but any recognition from her was always welcome. Even if she still thought of him as a nurse, at least she had some knowledge of his existence, which was a huge improvement, and
