CHAPTER ELEVEN IT WAS THE Monday before Christmas, and Caiden started playing holiday music bright and early. Actually, it was more early than bright, as the sun had not even bothered to wake up yet. Luckily for Susanna, she was already awake and tending to Brandon’s clothes, as well as breakfast for the three of them. Being back in her normal routine had a peaceful, calming effect on her, especially now with the pressure of keeping it all a secret no longer necessary.
